Was listening to this album on my first solo drive.
Очень понравился альбом. Маркул подтянул всё: продакшин, текста, сограйтерство. Считаю это его лучшим альбомом.
Relistening to this album, I liked it. A very mature piece of art. Originally, I didn't really understand it. Maybe the best songwriting and lyrics I've heard from brother. Need some time to grow to love it though.
The first album I listened to several months after the war in Ukraine started. It became personal not only to Conway but to me as well. Helped me to get through.
I don't speak German but I watched several essays on this album, and it's incredible! Also, this album wears its influences on its sleeves or whatever. Sounds incredible.
Sometimes you can hear the reference tracks for the songs he made and they are not covers. Some really good songs on this album, I really enjoyed them and was genuinely impressed!
In my opinion, his best body of work. Sad that most of it was ghostwritten but all songs are iconic and part of history now. I'll get it on vinyl some day.
I was blind to this album for too long. An incredible piece. I apologize for being ignorant, I was a fool.
The only thing that ruins the experience is that one single Benny The Butcher line: "Nah, my finger never could point / You know pussy best when it's moist". Bro get outta here.
It's not a perfect album but I keep coming back to it all these years since it was released. A very good album. Some songs helped me through some tough times.
My favorite project of his, I know pretty much every track by heart. On a good day you can catch me rapping these verses while taking a shower.
Personally, I think this is the best JID album to this day and one of the best rap albums of the decade.
The album is so much better than people are giving it credit for. Many sensitive topics mixed with catchy songwriting. Good production, too. Never thought it was overproduced. Thought it was pretty good even before the tragic events of Chester.
I think that all hooks on the 29 album sound obnoxious, I don't like them at all. I think that 39 album has more to offer. Great writing, no bad bars that stood out. But nothing amazing that caught my attention neither. I understand that I need to give more time to this album and actually get into the whole story, concept, bars, etc. I'm sure that the album is deeper and more complex than what it seems from the first couple listens, and it will take time to grow on me.
Went to a listening party in one of the cities prior to the release. It was a wonderful day, sunset, peacefulness. Met new people. This is what music is about!
