"Creep" is really the only thing this album has going for it. It's not a bad album, but there's just not a lot here.
Favorite song is "Creep"
Least favorite song is "I Can't"
I had a dad, too. I still do, but I used to, too.
Favorite song is "Jane Says"
Least favorite song is "Standing in the Shower... Thinking"
Reminds me a lot of Beck, for some reason. Is there some crossover between the two? I wouldn't be surprised.
Favorite song is "Stop Breaking Down"
Least favorite song is "Screwdriver"
Muse always felt overly preachy to me at points, especially on this album, but I enjoyed this perfectly fine.
Favorite song is "Undisclosed Desires"
Least favorite song is "MK Ultra"
How Lupe Fiasco has never been more of a mainstream presence, I'll never know.
Favorite song is "Til Eternity"
Least favorite song is "Cake"
it wasn't as bad as i was afraid it would be, but it's that good either. all the songs just trudge along at the same tempo

Fun fact: If you look up the definition of "Winning" in the dictionary, it just says "Kendrick Lamar in 2024."
Favorite song is "Luther"
Least favorite song is the title track (not bad at all, BTW. It's just the one I go back to the least.)
This just made me sad. But like, in a good way, you know? It's like one of those movies that's so emotionally raw that you can only stomach watching it once. One of the best "I Never Want to Listen to This Again" albums ever.
What happened to Katy? I remember liking her a lot in high school. She had such a commanding presence in pop music. And here, she just sounds like she squirted this album about because she hadn't put one out in a while rather than because she had something new to say.
Favorite song is "Artificial"
Least favorite song is "Woman's World"
This was the first album I ever heard from Kendrick. Crazy how there's at least three more albums that are even better than this.
Favorite song is "DNA"
Least favorite song is "FEEL"
So since this is a (double? triple?) album, that does mean that it has the right to be a bit of a mess. There's plenty of decent songs on here, and plenty of stinkers, but it absolutely did not need to be this long. I was exhausted by the end.
Favorite song is "In Lieu of Failure"
Least favorite song is "That Which Animates the Spirit"
Crazy that they established their signature sound so early. The guitar work in particular is crazy.
Favorite song is "Metal Militia"
Least favorite song is "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)"
Watching Doug Walker's trainwreck of a "review" of the movie really sealed the deal on this being an all-time great, even if Doug doesn't get why.
Favorite song is "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" (duh)
Least favorite song is "Stop"
Helped get me into hip hop and rap.
Favorite song is either "Can't Hold Us" or "A Wake"
Least favorite song is "Cowboy Boots" (it's not bad, it's just kinda out there)
This shit went 50x platinum while I was growing up. Childhood defining album.
Favorite song was "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"
Least favorite song was "Whatsername"
