The opening track "Workinonit" is loaded with different vocal samples and a calm and funky guitar playing on the background. This track shows perfectly what type of music we are going to hear on the record. Another notable thing right from the opening track is Dilla's style of how he uses his drum patterns. He doesn't use quantization at all, which makes his drums feel a little out of place and that way a sort of more human and less robotic.
