Instant classic. One of the best rap albums of all time, period.
Crazy good for an EP full of demos. Great beginning to the powerhouse Steve Lacy would eventually become.
Genuine disappointment, especially since I very much enjoyed Vol 3. Way too much going on, the album has a critical lack of focus. I know he can do better than this. FAVES: Alex, Perfume, Thunder, Switchblade, Kansas, Happy
