Almost made it to the end without a Charlie Kirk bar.
This album, contrary to the earlier singles, was for sure experimental, and it did end up sounding pretty different from his last album for the most part. It ends up leaning into a more EDM type of sound, especially in the first half, with the latter half being more melodic and, if anything, more similar to ILDMLFY, but it still manages to have a different enough feel. Pretty good, I like how it sounds a little different from ILDMLFY this time. The epic outro was cool, but I feel like it could have developed into something amazing if the track were a little longer.
THE GHOST~POP TAPE is an album that I originally put off listening to for quite a while. I had heard the Call Me Maybe cover and thought it was absolutely beautiful, but I wasn't sure how much I would like an entire album's worth of that same stripped back sound.
