Since I’ve already done a review for TPAB which is an amazing and flawless album, I decided to revisit good kid, m.A.A.d city. The first time I listened to this, I pretty much loved every song on it and I wanted to see if that point still stands and if I actually think this album is better. Now that I’ve listened to it all the way through, I can safely say that this is one of the best rap albums from the 2010s. Like, the production on here is fantastic and I love the story telling ... read more
Love this album. I don’t think it’s a 10/10, but it’s still fantastic. Chuck D and Flavor Flav have great chemistry with a Chuck being a great rapper and Flavor Flav being a great hype man. Also, some of the samples on this album are really good like I love the fact that She Watch Channel Zero has a sample of Angel of Death from Slayer. It just shows that they respect other genres of music as well. I mean, they did team up with Anthrax which then we got a rock version of Bring ... read more
Even though they only spent six weeks on this album, they ended up making one of the best rap albums of all time. Like, the chemistry between the members is amazing. Dre and Yella did a great job with production on this album and Cube, Eazy, and Ren were great on this album as well. Now back then, because they were just rapping around what was happening in their neighborhood (which was Compton), and even rapping about the police on the song “Fuck Tha Police”, MTV wouldn’t let ... read more
I’ve been seeing this album praised a lot and I decided to finally give this album a shot and I was not disappointed. Now, this is my first album that I’ve listened to from Lorde. Before that, I’ve only listened to Royals since that was a big hit. Also, I didn’t even know that Jack Antonoff produced this album and this might be his best production work he’s ever done. I’m finally listening to a jazz album since it’s a genre that I haven’t really dived that deep into but today, I’m gonna listen to Kind of Blue by Miles Davis. This is considered one of the best in the genre as well as one of the greatest albums of all time so I just had to check this album out. Plus, this is also going to be the first album I listen to from the 1950s since I’ve never listened to a single album that came out that decade. So, after listening to the ... read more

Now that I’ve listened to it, I can safely say that this is one of the best rap albums I’ve heard. The production is amazing and ... read more
Since I loved Vespertine, I decided to check out Homogenic because this is also an album that gets a lot of praise in Björk’s discography and some people even consider it her best album. So I wanted to see if this is better than Vespertine. Now that I’ve listened to this whole album front to back, I can safely say that this is pretty much on the same level as Vespertine. Like, the production is beautiful, but also cinematic at points. Plus, I also think this album is a bit more ... read more

Now that I’ve listened to it all the way through, I can safely say that this is one of the best punk rock albums of all time. The production still sounds amazing to this day and ... read more
I’m basically repeating myself here, but this is another album that I’ve already listened to before but I never wrote a review for it. I had to give this album a re listen because I’ve been seeing this album get a 10/10 for people and it being considered the best album to come in the 2010s. Plus, I never made a review for it on Musicboard because I listened to this album before I even got this app. But now that I listen to a second time I can say that it definitely deserves it. Soul music is another genre like R&B that I don’t listen to that much or at all really, but one album that looked interesting to me and an album that I wanted to revisit was What’s Going On. Because this is another one of those albums that I listened to but never wrote a review for because I didn’t have Musicboard when I listened to this the first time. So I decided to give this a revisit and I’m so glad I did because this album is flawless. Every song on here is so ... read more
I’ve always wanted to listen to this album, but never did, so this will be my first time listening to this album. I know Fantano calls this not only Talking Heads’ best album, but he also gave this album a 10, so I wanted to see if I’m board with him because pretty much with all the classic that he gave 10/10s to, I’ve pretty much agreed with most of them. But anyway, now that I’ve listened to this all the way through, I can safely say that this is another perfect ... read more
