Wow this album is so good. Almost every song in this album (except Shake Me and a few others) strung a different emotiol cord within me. This album has probably has elicited the most emotional response (high praise considering #2, which this beats, is Ants from Up There). Lovesick #1 (Misery) is one of the best songs they've ever release and hits especially close to home. I can't praise this album enough.
This is the first album I've ever listened to by Olivia Rodrigo. I've been hesitant to listen to her stuff, for a reason unknown by myself. I am not a fan of relationship songs, and this theme is central to Rodrigo's brand. "GUTS", however, does it in a (mostly) respectable and tolerable way that I can see past my disdain for this certain type of music. It's her whole thing, and she's good at it. I understand that she's trying to be deep, and someone out there relates to these types ... read more
“The Maybe Man” by AJR is perhaps the best album by AJR. Unfortunately, the bar is set extremely low.
AJR’s fifth album, “The Maybe Man,” is a melting pot of unoriginal lyrics, questionable production choices, and repetitive themes. This album gives me comfort; Christian music that sounds good, and it's a breath of fresh air. Even if you're not a Christian, give this album, or better yet this band a shot. It not only is a lyrical masterpiece, but a joy to listen to. I'm not giving it a 100 because the first two songs aren't the best.
Proof not all metal sounds the same because this is on a different League. Every drum beat, every electric guitar string, every little sound perfectly placed. It's impressive.
Pretty good. A step down from AB III in my humble opinion, but it's still decent. Peace is Broken is my favorite of the album.
Great album. All of the songs are kinda similar, but it still enjoyable.
It really isn't too bad. I don't understand why everyone likes feel it still so much. I found it to be slightly annoying, but that's just my opinion. I do really like tidal wave and so young, but the worst is probably Mr. Lonely.
Honesty, it's kinda frustrating that the most mid song from the album got a single. It's kinda mid.
As a first album, this is great! I love it, Metalingus and Broken Wings are two incredible songs, and overall, this is a very strong start to their career.
