Joey Bada$$ - Lonely At The Top
79

Not his strongest project of course, but solid all-round. I like that he's trying new things, but it's not all for me, a few strange elements were involved. That being said, it is still a good album, as we expect from Joey Bada$$, and songs like LONELY AT THE TOP, DARK AURA, and SUPAFLEE all hit so hard.

Best: LONELY AT THE TOP and DARK AURA
Worst: READY TO LOVE and 3 FEET AWAY

Yuno Miles - Ray Gun Mark II

the king is back at it. you'll never hear greater writing, lyricism, flow or beats than with yuno miles.
no one else could execute such a perfect beat switch halfway through the song.
"i got that ray gun on me right now so pew pew pew pew" so profound, so beautiful, so inspirational, so influential, he's the best to ever do it for good reason and this incredible single really adds salt into the wounds of all other rappers in the world.

Final rating: 132/100

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR

I finally listened to this album all the way through, no pausing, picking out songs or skipping, for the first time. And it took about 4 minutes before that "DON'T LEAVEEE, ITS MY FAULTTTT" hit and it was just indescribable. (and then carti ruined the song 😭)
The best way to describe IGOR is almost like one continuous song - the album is so much better listened all the way through, rather than picking out songs or shuffling. All of of the songs just flow and go one after the ... read more

OutKast - Aquemini

Their best work. Listening to the album all the way through, you never even think about the skip button (except for Mamacita, which is this albums "Drunk and Hot Girls" equivalent), the whole album just flows together so well, and even the much less popular tracks, such as West Savannah and Skew It On The Bar-B (which is one of my favourite outkast songs) sound amazing.

Best:
1. Skew It On The Bar-B (that Raekwon feature is delightful)
2. Liberation (8 minutes of continuous ... read more

Michael Jackson - Thriller

not anything I can say that hasn't already been said... it really is just like a greatest hits compilation, made by the greatest artist to ever do it.

never will understand it. I'll acknowledge that, just because I don't like something, that doesn't mean I should think its bad; everyone has different taste. But listening to this, it feels objectively bad - the beats are low quality and weird, the rapping is always off-beat and the writing is so awful, nothing substantial or layered, just words that rhyme. the only part of this album that I kind of enjoy is the "get got" beat, but the half-asleep, offbeat rapping ruins ... read more

Black Thought & Danger Mouse - Cheat Codes
NR

something about "belize" and "because" just make you feel like listening to the caviar of music

Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique

Grew up listening this masterpiece with my dad.
One of the most influential and groundbreaking albums of all time, but the beauty is in how unserious the album is, its light and fun while also being amazing.

Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans
NR

maybe the most up and down album I've ever heard, but the highs outweigh the lows so heavily.

Kanye West - The College Dropout

his second best
we don't care, all falls down, family business will all make you feel amazing

Madvillain - Madvillainy

Accordion, Meat grinder, raid, curls, figaro, strange ways, fancy clown, all caps.
not much needs to be said

King Geedorah - Take Me to Your Leader
87

Next levels is THE GREATEST song ever made.

MF DOOM - Operation: Doomsday
97

how can an album that includes doomsday, rhymes like dimes, go with the flow, gas drawls and ? be anything below a 90?

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers

If I could only pick one album to give a 100, it would be this one.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Exodus

One of the greatest ever

John Michel - Egotrip

amazing album all-round
nobody is a 9.5/10
world's end is a 10/10

Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
99

Anything below a 95 on this album is absurd

Tory Lanez - Alone At Prom
95

I think everyone rating this album is rating based on Tory Lanez himself, not the actual album, as this is one of the best albums from this decade.

Juicy J - Live and in Color
98

best album I've heard in years. only 1 skip in Big Bag Talk, but at least 6 songs are 9/10 (We Live, I need a hug, Flowers, Get Right, Fame, Kill For)

"terrible take, the discussions make it flow and if you listen to the album right through without skipping anything they fit perfectly. people will defend unlistenable stuff like the runaway outro just because of the artist's name, but when someone with more haters like logic or juicy tries to be unique, they get flamed."
