Jim Croce - You Don't Mess Around with Jim

Has some absolute BANGERS, but the rest of the album is just decent at best, so it balances out. Walkin' Back to Georgia, Time in a Bottle, You Don't Mess Around With Jim, and Operator carry this album.

You can NOT be unhappy while listening to this. Literally just the best feel-good music out there. Truly makes me feel so nice. Great flute playing or whatever kind of jugs they’re using, and such a constant album. Every track is just so good and it never drags or gets fatiguing to listen to. It keeps you engaged and having a good time through the whole listen!

This easily could have been split into ten different racks, which would have benefited the LP greatly. The track lengths make me compare it to Godspeed You, Black Emperor and Miles ... read more

Some great moment for sure but holy fucking shit I hate everything about whoever is playing the saxophone. They have the most nauseating tone of all time and they are the defitnioj of a one trick pony with their incessant religion of the same lick at NASEUM. I truly can’t understate how big of a disappointment it was to be so excited to hear this album, them to met with the most tasteless sax playing I’ve ever heard. Aside from that, the instrumentation is actually quite nice. The ... read more
