This is a pretty good record, although I feel that Mitski's music wasn't meant for me for some reason.
I love how sweet and tender this sounds. The lyrics are simple and emotionally honest, while the instrumentation feels like a warm hug. I think this album could be relatable to anyone.
Car Seat Headrest is my favorite band, but I had never listened to this album before. One of my favorite albums of all time. The beautiful lyrics, the delicate instrumentation, the cozy feeling... Everything here is simply perfect. This is the kind of music I listen to in cloudy days. Belle and Sebastian is tenderness itself.
One of the greatest music albums ever made. Will Toledo perfectly encapsulates the feeling of being a queer teenager lost in life. This record speaks to me on such a deep level that it is almost impossible to describe what I feel while listening to it. I love you, Will. I really do.
