Meh. It’s a fine sentiment that I fuck with and the lyrics are a bit on the nose. Feels a little mechanically trite and dull, this is what I’ve already heard before and nothing new. That being said, this has potential to make way for some good shit. If it was in an Ep I would take it more seriously and care more… this my should make an Ep (again), their last one wasn’t that bad.

This isn’t really a *bad* song as much as it feels like it should have gone to someone else. Cyrus’s doesn’t feel like it fits into this rather light, rather banal track. That sucks, she can do a lot when her voice fits and the song is built around it, but she feels like anyone could replace her and do better. So many woman could make this kind of track.

I have found myself so jaded in viewing all art as of days late; this recalcitrant pile of meat makes it difficult to sit down and enjoy.
