When I say I'm not a fan of country, I mean the modern stuff. The classics are always welcome.
Favorite: Only Thing I Have Left
Was I supposed to not like this album, because oops. Sure it has some misses but I think it has more hits than acknowledged.
Favorites: Island in the Sun (duh), Photograph
Least Favorites: Crab, Glorious Day
I can't believe how many good songs are on one album. Incredible.
*Marge Simpson voice* I just think it's neat.
Favorites: Aperture of Pinholes & Carcass Lottery
The first two ETF albums are the most nostalgic to me, and while I prefer the first, this one is not slouch. Some decent hits since Craig joined, and while later albums may not be my favorite, this one can stand on its own.
Favorite: The Flood
Least Favorite: It's Just Me
Would love to give this one more attention, but it is still a super beautiful and haunting piece!
Favorite: I WHO BEND THE TALL GRASSES
Least Favorite: nuh uh
Very heavy stuff. Always been a fan of Pig Destroyer's drumming especially on this album.
Fav: The three song run between Naked Trees, Sheet Metal Girl, and Preacher Crawling
Least Fav: idk, Jennifer i guess?
Atmospheric black metal that, in my opinion, leans more into the black metal aspect. Absolutely loved this.
I realize I'm late to this party but this album is incredible. One of the best debuts I have ever heard
Favorites: bad guy (duh), you should see me in a crown, all good girls go to hell
Least Favorite: my strange addiction
Got to hear a lot of this album back in Warped Tour '14, so I ended up buying it on CD and think it's a pretty well put together record.
Favorite(s): For You, Badly Broken, Stumbling in Your Footsteps
Pop punk record that isn't really anything noteworthy but still decent.
Favorite: Atlas
Say what you will about Ronnie, because it is probably true, but I love this album. It may nostalgia talking. I just find so much about this record that I love. It's one of the earliest examples of this type of music that help get me into this genre, so I will always have a lot of respect for it. It made me excited to see what Ronnie was going to do with FIR. Unfortunately, we found out how that was gonna go.
Favorite: When I Go Out, I Want to Go Out on a Chariot of Fire
Least Favorite: N/A
Not really a Slam guy, but this record could potentially change that. I feel that it got better as it progressed.
Favorite: Eyes of Abomination
Least Favorite: Hacksaw Surgery
For what I believed to be Korn's biggest album due to how often people mentioned Coming Undone and Twisted Transistor, it really doesn't hit as hard as other projects both newer and older. I still think this is not a bad album has it has a fair share of hits. just also has some duds or just unmemorable tracks.
FAVORITE TRACK(s): Coming Undone, Love Song
LEAST FAVORITE TRACK(s): 10 or a 2-way
I've heard this album was rushed just so they could go back to touring, but I believe this is up there with Korn's first album in terms how originally heavy and dark it gets. May not be their most impressive, but it may be my personal fav of theirs.
FAVORITE(s): Good God, Chi
LEAST FAVORITE(s): Porno Creep, Ass Itch (lyrically)
Albums like this give me hope for modern metalcore.
