i recognize this is a great album, and is very influential. I would rate higher, but it just was not made for me,
To me, not as good as Kiryu’s and Majima’s karaoke collection but still very enjoyable!
Album that unfortunately was not helped strong enough by my nostalgia. Not bad by any means, but for me to think this album was peak 14 years ago when I first listened to it, only to discover it hasn't aged the best for me is a little upsetting.
Probably my favorite of theirs. Immortal may as well be my favorite Black Metal band for as much as I've dived into them this year.
Favorite(s): Tyrant and In My Kingdom Cold
Listened to this one a lot in high school. I don't need to hear it again to tell you what we all know already: BAD
Very unique. Lots of stuff works, Lots of stuff (for me), didn't land. Heresy trilogy in general is very bizarre. Wouldn't call it bad. But different compared to the other tracks that I enjoy, so it takes me out of it for a bit. Still had fun!
Favorite: Hands of the String Puller
Least favorite: Heresy III
I can understand why this isn't rated higher, but I enjoy it!
Favorites: Good Graces and Juno
Least Favorite: Slim Pickins
Score will probably update because I can tell I already want to listen to this again.
Favorites: Giving Bad people Good Ideas, Hot Head, Three Bedrooms in a Good Neighborhood.
Least Favorite: Warping (take it with a grain of salt, still not bad by any means)
Not great, but fun!
Favorites: I could list the obvious two but I'll just say I'm Broke and Nobody Like You were higher on my list as well!
Least Favorites: Honestly, second half of the album.
Not hard to see why this is a staple of Death Metal.
Favorites: Seeds of the Suffering, Reincremation
Used to be a huge FIR fan when they first came out, mainly due to liking Ronnie's music in ETF. I am thankful to have since had my eyes open, because I definitely would have forced myself to liking this "album" like I did with Fashionably Late. I could go on and on about what I don't like about this project, but I don't have the time or patience for that, so I'll just say, yikes!
Fantastic EP that was a huge gateway for me to get into metal.
Favortie: Knee Deep, Entombment of a Machine
What if I told you this was the first CD I ever bought? Yep, I gave him money, I know.
