comments: I've been listening to Anamanaguchi since 2013, following the release of Endless Fantasy. I have always been an emo at heart. I was in 2013 and I am to this day. Chiptune and EDM have always been the oddballs in my roster of favorite genres. Anamanaguchi has always been a favorite of mine, second only to My Chemical Romance (an embarrassing favorite artist to have once you hit your ... read more

least favorite tracks: daydreaming, glass eyes, burn the witch
comments: WOW. this is a really good album. this is like. the logical conclusion to their entire discography. it is an immensely powerful final album. that is, provided they don't release a new LP someday. i haven't had a lot to say about their past few albums, but this is worth talking about. This album is a little bit of everything they've ever experimented with, ... read more

comments: wow. THIS album. i thought i understood radiohead. i no longer understand radiohead. why do people say this is their best album? the lyrics are so bare bones and maybe one or two levels below surface. nothing impressive or standout as their next step after ok computer (which i currently regard as their best album). imo it sounds like a ... read more
i don't usually bother with live albums either but this one is special to me. i will always love and respect when an artist's music comes alive for a live performance.

favorite tracks: it's u, 888, i'll make cereal
least favorite tracks: lemon boy, taking care of things, 10 feet tall
comments: i remember anticipating this album and listening to it the day it came out. i don't like it as much as i used to, but it's still a pretty good album. cavetown would go on to do much more interesting things that i like a lot better though.
favorite tracks: open book, daria, frank sinatra
least favorite tracks: race car ya-yas, italian leather sofa, friend is a four letter word
comments: i really liked the sound of this album and i can't quite place where i've heard it. can't for the life of me understand why they're categorized as nerd/geek rock. i don't really see anything nerdy or geeky about this.
favorite tracks: kingslayer (feat. BABYMETAL), one day the only butterflies left will be the ones in your chest as you march towards your death (feat. amy lee), parasite eve
least favorite tracks: dear diary, itch for the cure (when will we be free?), obey (with YUNGBLUD)
comments: what an interesting and topical album to have come out around the time it did. i remember listening to this and being floored by it the day it came out.
favorite tracks: degausser, you won't know, millstone
least favorite tracks: luca, archers, welcome to bangkok
comments: this album speaks to a type of trauma i didn't know i had. much more bold and daring than their previous work in a way that pays off immensely. not a single miss here.
favorite tracks: guernica, play crack the sky, jaws theme swimming
least favorite tracks: tautou, sic transit gloria... glory fades, the quiet things that no one ever knows
comments: this album is a masterpiece. i would nearly regard it over devil and god. brand new have a way with words that isn't like many other bands i've seen. they also have an interesting approach to the emo genre that makes them stand out as one of the greats.
favorite tracks: flume, for emma, skinny love
least favorite tracks: team, lump sum, blindsided
comments: this is another album i listened to very early on. it was the first vinyl i ever bought, and i bought it on a whim because someone on the internet recommended i listen to bon iver. i love this album dearly, and it has gotten me through a lot. once again not a single skip. not a single bad song.
favorite tracks: prom night, canal paradise, pastel flags
least favorite tracks: all 3 of the interludes (no bad tracks on this album seriously)
comments: one of the defining albums for me and my music taste. heard the year it came out and it changed my world. this album will always rule. not a single skip here. anamanaguchi still remains in my top 3 to this day.
favorite tracks: let down, no surprises, exit music (for a film)
least favorite tracks: airbag, lucky, fitter happier
comments: wow. this album. not a single skip. not a single song here i wouldn't listen to. even fitter happier, a song entirely read out by a robotic voice. this album's message and sound are both crazy for the time it was released. i understand radiohead's game now. i get what people were talking about. damn. not a single bad song on this album.
favorite tracks: fake plastic trees, bones, high and dry
least favorite tracks: bullet proof... i wish i was, black star, sulk
comments: i liked this a lot more than pablo honey, but it still doesn't feel representative of the reputation radiohead has made for themselves. i can feel it getting there though. i had a hard time saying i truly disliked any of the songs on this album. i didn't. even the worst tracks are still tracks i enjoyed. nothing on this album was under a ... read more
favorite tracks: vegetable, thinking about you, prove yourself
least favorite tracks: anyone can play guitar, stop whispering, how do you?
comments: this is their first album and also the lowest rated radiohead album so i'm not surprised i think it's kinda mid. the main reason i have been afraid to touch this discography is because it has been hyped up so much that i feel like i will inevitably be disappointed upon first listen. that's kinda what this felt like.
