Dumbsville did a amazing and great job criticising a groomer by making a diss album.
It's not a bad album, it is the first dissapointing album, but i still enjoyed most of it, i just feel like half of the songs are forgettable and are pure filler just to pad out the album's runtime.
For the first time I’m reviewing and rating an album from a band from the country I live in, and this was quite an experience.
Considered as the most important Slovenian (or at the top me Yugoslav) punk band this was considered to be influential for the country. Honestly I feel like the Yugoslav punk band had its own unique identity for the genre rather than just the typical punk most of us know, even know it’s a good album the issue is for international viewers it would be hard ... read more
If this was released today, it would probably be controversial.
My dad only listened to Bad Religion until the Generator album which he didn't like, so he wasn't able to listen to this classic, he is missing a lot.
To be fair, this was nowhere near as good as the debut, i feel like it lacks the charm and all the elements it made their debut great, (Although i haven't listened to the second album yet), at this point i feel like they wanted to be a less Hardcore Punk and Reggae band and more of a Hardcore and a Funk/alt metal band, to the point it kinda sounds like a different band, although She's Calling You was very good, and House of Suffering and Re-Ignition were also pretty good,
I literally forgot this existed until now, this song is so stupid I love it.
Dolores is rolling in her grave, because of this cover.
Compare to the original which had this very bleak and sad tone, this cover sounds like it tries to be like this epic stuff like humanity is ending.
I always re-listen to the original to wash my brain out, whenever I hear this cover somewhere.
Rancid’s Sandinista! only nowhere near as good. While …and out come the wolves was their London calling.
I felt drunk while listening to this, even know i wasn't drinking any alcohol.
Anyway similar to how Anthrax are the least talked about of the American Big 4, Tankard are pretty much the least talked about of the German/Teutonic big 4. Also pretty much the only of the 4 that wasn't considered to be part of the First Wave of Black Metal with their debut release. I will say they're pretty much the tamest of the 4 bands, especially with their lyrics. If anything this is pretty much ... read more
Out of all the first wave black metal bands I’ve heard so far, I think Sarcofago are the closest to what the genre would become, I feel like it is also a good example of influencing a genre what would become, although if I have to criticise something, I would say that some of the riffs and drum patterns sound sloppy, but other than that is a decent listen, would recommend it to any black metal fan.
Pretty much Celtic Frost, before Celtic Frost, only not as good, I do appreciate the influence and legacy it did, on heavy music, I do think most of the riffs and vocal work are great, although I feel like the songs could’ve been stronger.
Controversial but Triumph of Death is my least favourite song in the album, it’s boring in my opinion and the vocals are just random noise, that don’t make any sense to me.
