Very of its era, but I dig it. It’s a pretty fun and all around enjoyable pop album glittered in that 80s cheese.
Not a huge ambient listener, but I really enjoyed the enchanted and shiny sound of this album. Great to relax or study to.
The band has changed their dance rock sound for something more atmospheric and cinematic, and the concept of this album is super awesome, almost feels like a movie soundtrack.
Great song, but I much prefer the album version. This one is too “dancey” and works better at a slower pace.
I live absolutely everything about this album. Everything about every song is just so incredible it’s unbelievable. One of the greatest albums of all time, no doubt.
Pretty good, but as a lead single this is kind of meh
This isn’t a bad album by any means, but man is this just way below par for Duran Duran after five 9/20+ albums. Like everyone has said, serious and my Antarctica are really good. Violence of summer is pretty fun too. But the rest? It ranges from pretty decent to just lame. Non of it is terrible per se, but it’s definitely lacking direction. This album has nothing interesting going for it.
An all time classic, no doubt. An overplayed gem I’ll never get tired of.
