Second half of the album drags, but that's a decent deal for the amount of replays a majority of the first half contains.
I'm still relatively new to hearing this style of higher-register up-tempo hip-hop, but the production and atmosphere on this album are very well-executed and the vocals are drenched in enough effects to become a whole other instrument in service to said production. It's like a fusion of Stranger-era Yung Lean with Baby-era Justin Bieber, but without the music sucking because of the latter.
This is an unholy combination of DG's "Exmilitary", Clipping's "clippng", and various Russian hard bass production methods all blended and deep-fried together, and I'm all for it. Hearing the melodies and varied progressions throughout this album is a challenge of patience, but it is a rewarding (if harrowing) experience if heard in full.
