Truly makes you think how the fuck did a Blind man make almost a perfect album. To me musically speaking this is more impressive than Beethoven being Deaf and making music.
To fully appreciate or grasp this album/experience at least to me you need to close your eyes and be engulfed by the landscape of sound, the sometimes abrupt way each section weaves into the next, the way that each sections conveys emotions and the argument of those emotion that it conveys and finally after finishing look at the cover. Favorite Sections are V and VIIII.
Every time I listen to Chain, almost like a fucking sleeper agent I think of guardians of the Galaxy 2.
Is it a little bloated yes, but for the majority of the run time it’s an amazing rock classic
The first four songs are something else and then the latter drop by a little. Still overall the album is an amazing grove to start the decade.
Truly a beautiful album and in its beauty its a mesmerizing piece of work that put me to sleep unlike most albums that is a strength here.
Overall a Great Album with great production and vocal performances, but main issue with this some of the songs on here drag on way too long. I don’t think this album should be almost an hour and a half long
One of the best Titles for an Album of all time and the songs back it up in its greatness.
Even though through most of the time I couldn’t make out what Elizabeth was singing you always felt the emotion.
Even thinking about the movie makes me tear up. Probably the best soundtrack to a movie ever just damn.
Must Listen to any Hip Hop fan amazing from start to end. Probably my third Favorite rap album from the 90’s
The one word to describe this album is beautiful. It describes everything about it, the production, the lyrics, and especially Sade’s Vocals.
A groundbreaking debut album from Wu-Tang Clan. It might not be as good as some of the rap albums later on but would these albums even be able to be made without this, No.
