Chet Baker - Chet Baker Quartet featuring Russ Freeman
NR

Favorite song - This time the dreams on me

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
93

I like the different style coming from Tyler, though it’s not so much the party music I was expecting. However, it is the kind of “having fun” music that he said it would be as I can hear that album exuding sounds of Tyler’s own silliness.

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk
86

Overall above average pop album. Not insanely outstanding in any category, but all are pretty great.
Notable things:
I Loved the transition between Fear, Sex and Vampire in the Corner
Also I love that they ended the album without resolution, as to encourage you to wait for what they’re going to release next.

black midi - Hellfire
97

oh my god this album absolutely blew me away. with a much heavier focus on vocals this time around black midi has a masterful combination of busy instrumentation, lyrics, and vocal rhythm. Sugar/Tzu could be in my top 10 songs of all time.

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
96

really love this album and the emotional journey that this album has takes you through so much and i experienced a new feeling while listening to this it was so different and amazing

The Beatles - Help!
80

This album was good but it is not outdated as nearly every song sounds the same. There is the same sound across almost every song except for yesterday and nearly every song sounds as if it could be any other song on the album. Though fundamentally this album is great in mostly every way with great harmony and vocals.

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
85

Reminds me of radiohead a lot. I hate the rot songs so this rating is not including them

beabadoobee - This Is How Tomorrow Moves
85

many of the tracks on this album sound very similar but they all at least sound good.

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
94

This album honestly really surprised me with how great it was because my impression of billie was songs ive heard when she was first getting popular like bad guy so it amazed me to seehow actually good the music was. theres so many great musical moments within this album its easy to tell it was produced by a musician with many years of prior experience
Favorite track - THE GREATEST
Least favorite track - THE DINER

Reel Big Fish - Candy Coated Fury
97

This shit is fire its basically like cuban swing jazz music idk why ive never listened ska but so fire.
Favorite song- I Know You Too Well to Like You Anymore
Least favorite- Hiding in my headphones (the start is ass but it turns out to be fire still)

Playboi Carti - Whole Lotta Red
83

Im a pretty decent fan of cart but ive never heard full albums, only individual songs. A lot of the songs on this album are kinda just really okay so im not gonna give it a high rating, but its highs are great.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
84

JPPEGMAFIA is not an artist i thoughtb i would ever like, but this album surprised me. I cant get behind a lit of the repeated use of the same sample over and over again in a lot of the songs, but his flow and lyricism are pretty decent.
Favorite song - JPEGULTRA!
Least favorite song - Ill be right there
Underrated - It dark and hell is hot
Overrated - either on or off the drugs

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
92

This album is great, but will never live up to madvillany. The 4 interlude tracks kind of sets the album off track, but luckily all songs after it are great. I think the only thing stopping it from being as great as madvillany is the fact that madlib produced less on this album, and he is essentially the perfect match for dooms rapping style and character.
Favorite track - One beer
Least favorite - Potholderz
Underrated - Kon Queso
Overrated - None

J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hills Drive
83

All the tracks on here are great and have great lyricism but something about the last few tracks all feel just very corny and could be much improved upon. Live all the others though
Fav song - Fire squad
Worst song - Hello
Most underrated - January 28th
Overrated - idk theyre all acurrate ratings lowkey

Madvillain - Madvillainy
97

This shit so magnificent. After hearing Joey Badass’ 1999 and loving itI felt i had to listen to someone Joey took great inspiration from. After listening to this album in my opinion DOOM is the greatest lyricist of all time, topping the likes of kendrick with his crazy entendres.
Favorite track- Meat grinder
Least Favorite track - Accordion
Most Overrated - Accordion
Most underrated - Money folder

Taylor Swift - folklore
71

This album is generally very bland across the board with no significant focal points across each of the songs. From an objective point of view the music is fine, but there is often no musical idea that develops throughout the songs. It also feels as if there is almost no emotion in most songs due to there being no significant amount of volume changes. The way I would fix this album is by making the chord progression more than 4 across most of the songs and create a musical idea that actually ... read more

jaydes - heartpacing
83

Much better than his most recent project please go back to this

Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
97

This album is generation and may be the best album I've ever listened to. My favorite track is Contusion which is odd because its one of 2 songs that don't have vocals on them, but I love it so much.

Metallica - ...And Justice for All
85

This album was my first metal album i listened to ever and it surprised me with its groove-ability and was honestly impressing.

Radiohead - OK Computer
95

This album is genuinely a masterpiece. Its full of what feels like real emotion coming from Thom Yorke and it transfers into the listener with great effect due to the heave use of complex time signatures or for example in The Tourist they take a song that should be in 4/4 time and cut out the last beat, so it feels constantly unresolvedd and uneasy. I think along my 100 day journey this will be the best album i hear, unless something otherworldly comes upon me. I’ll put this album amongst ... read more
