The album is significantly better than TTPD but it definitely has it's flaws. Some lyrics are very corny but I love the production (thanks Max esp). I expected something better honestly but its a pretty good effort. "The Fate of Ophelia" is the highlight and i can see why its the lead single.
This is my first time listening to Caroline and I'm captivated? A bit? It has a few fillers but overall a enjoyable experience. Blood and Butter is a highlight tho.
A classic in it's own right. Definitely one of the top 10 best records of the 80s idc. Having creative & full control of her career was the best thing she could do for herself. Let's Wait Awhile is a favorite.
Short n Sweet is far more superior. I can tell this album was rushed and there's a reason why it's good to divide time in-between releasing records. Irregardless I expected better (surprisingly) but for a pop record it's decent. My Man on Willpower is a highlight btw.
Its definitely a step-down from her self titled debut but it's not technically a bad record. The opening track though is the only one with any real substance though.
