fun, refreshing and fresh, the best thing he has ever released
favs: windowlicker, nannou
the deluxe tracks don’t really stand out that much that it deserves a higher rating, but they enhance the light and poppy sound to the album, also just to add that the autotune is campy and is truly an iykyk thing;
favs (only for the deluxe): baby pink, can friends kiss?
i’m so sorry but this album is truly a masterpiece that is simply misunderstood, klp kosher and lil nas x tracks are under appreciated, pitbull feature is goated, the drake feature is rubbish;
favs: i luv it, he knows, 305tilidie, b.o.a.t
super unique sound, did not know that they already had 2 viral songs;
favs: intro, tessellate, breezeblocks
it’s actually surprisingly good, starting the album fully expecting all american trash electronic music but the light and airy breakcore drum loops actually make the album very pleasant and fun to listen to, aphex twin influence on the sound and bladee influence on the album cover;
favs: out by 16, crystalline chute
oh my god this is so ass💔💔💔 target audience of rizzmasters and munchkins bro, don’t ever disrespect grimes’ artistry with that sample ever again;
favs: project pat, f**k cancer
instrumental is so smooth and soothing, definitely an easy album to listen to and put in the background;
favs: nothing, reagents park, old fashioned, figment of my mind
kind of a life changing album tbh, super cool mix of frank ocean and aphex twin? idk listen to it then you’d know what i mean;
favs: amberwood, hummingbird, strawberry, garden
an album filled with pc music goodness, porsche is so underrated and needs to be appreciated like track 10 for the masterpiece it is;
favs: backseat, femmebot, porsche, track 10
great storytelling and simplistic yet excellent production, need to get my hands on the deluxe version to listen to the bonus tracks, don't know why people hate on the features and god's country to be honest cause i think they're pretty good;
favs: michelle pfiffer, god's country, inbred
honestly vulnerable, the great impersonator portrays halsey’s internal struggles as it is, great album with a super creative concept and incredible album rollout;
favs: letter to god (1974), i believe in magic
dreary and hazy lofi production that feels very comfortable to listen to. a very warm and nostalgic album;
favs: keen on boys, slottet #2, 1995
as haunting as it is ethereal, every song on this album is nothing less than a masterpiece. only a genius like hayden can create such a beautiful amalgamation of elements;
favs: american teenager, televangelism, sun bleached flies, strangers
the predecessor of brat still hits hard, or perhaps even harder than brat 4 years later with raw lyricism from the heart the iconic pc music highly associated with charli's sound. truly the brat before brat was bratty;
favs: claws, i finally understand, party 4 u
although not as culturally relevant or significant in comparison to the rollout of the base album, the feature list on this remix album can only be described as stacked and star- studded. each and every remix only gets better with the coolest collaborators on the album. definitely didn't disappoint;
favs: everything is romantic (remix), so i (remix), mean girls (remix), b2b (remix), 365 (remix)
noid and st. chroma really doesn't actually perfectly encapsulate and do the sound of chromokopia justice since it is a newer concept for tyler's sound, loved the monologue on hey jane and really do agree with one review that said that chromokopia is the emalgamation of cmiygl and igor. one of tyler's best works in my opinion;
favs: darling, i, hey jane, take your mask off, i hope you find your way home
