I'm not going to pretend this album is anything mind blowing, but I respect it nonetheless because it kinda got me into music back then. There are some clear low points, but there are enough highlights to make me want to relisten from time to time.
first half is a little meh, but around halfway into ITNLOS it really gets going
This album kinda lives off the hype moments, AKA the breakdowns.
It has a standard metalcore production, which I'm not a fan of in general.
This doesn't help with the fairly bland songs, and made me forget a good chunk of this album the instant this album was over.
The only thing that I really remember were the breakdowns of monolith and lonely god, which go pretty hard for the 10 seconds of the album they occupy.
Too generic for me.
