Not as impactful to me as their first four albums, but they do a really great job at making their music radio-friendly while still having it sound undeniably like Modest Mouse.
No one can pull off these vocals like Isaac Brock.

A little bit inconsistent but when it hits it hits hard, a few of these songs are some of the most beautiful I've ever heard, while others just sound like generic uninspired 90s alt-rock that feel like they were leftover from Pablo Honey. I understand that they wanted variety but even though they prove they can make an interesting louder rock song with 'Just' they fail to make songs like 'Black Star' or 'Sulk' worth listening to.
