Foo Fighters - Your Favorite Toy
55

The Foos are favorites of mine, and with their previous album 'But Here We Are' taking a spot among my top 5 records from them due to its sheer emotional impact and powerful, catchy tracks - I was hopeful for their "new beginning". Ilan is a great drummer and a good addition to the band. Sadly, that ends up being one of the few saving factors on this record. I really wish I liked it more, and I've tried, but it has ended up at the bottom of the list for me.

Radiohead - Pablo Honey
67

Revisiting some of the Radiohead stuff I have listened to the least, Pablo Honey needed another go. I recalled it being way more unrefined and same-y. Though lots of the tracks sorta blend in terms of similar tempo, grooves and chord usage, there's still good moments on here. It can't really be compared to like, any of their later stuff but it's not that bad of a listen even if it is some of their weaker work. It's definitely still a very listenable 90's record.

Aerosmith - Music from Another Dimension!

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Music From Another Dimension!'*

Aerosmith's last record sadly ends up being their dullest and worst. Very very few high points and just a whole lot of nothing tracks, even though they structurally should make sense. There are riffs sure, but the whole thing just feels washed up.

Favorite track: Legendary Child
Least favorite track: Another Last Goodbye

Aerosmith - Honkin' on Bobo

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Honkin' on Bobo'*

Mainly a covers album of blues tunes. Road Runner was decent, and the one original song The Grind ended up being my favorite. Other than that, kinda boring to be honest.

Favorite track: The Grind
Least favorite track: Jesus Is On The Main Line

Aerosmith - Just Push Play

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Just Push Play'*

Jaded and Fly Away From Here were sorta the only ones I could pick out that I liked. A lot of the other songs felt very bland.

Favorite track: Jaded
Least favorite track: Outta Your Head

Aerosmith - Nine Lives
46

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Nine Lives'*

This one was a slog to get through. There weren't really any stinkers on here, just a whole bunch of forgettable songs, which almost is worse in a way. Finding a 'favorite' ended up being kinda hard lol.

Favorite track: Ain't That A Bitch
Least favorite track: The Farm

Aerosmith - Get a Grip
70

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Get a Grip'*

An album that ended up surprising me, in a positive way. After a bit of a hot streak with lukewarm records, I actually ended up enjoying this one quite a bit and will probably revisit a few of the songs.

Favorite track: Cryin'
Least favorite track: Boogie Man

Aerosmith - Pump

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Pump'*

A lot of people seem to hold this one in pretty high regard among their albums. I couldn't quite get it myself, though I see where the appeal is with the 80's sound. Just not for me I suppose. Was still pretty alright in total.

Favorite track: What It Takes
Least favorite track: Monkey On My Back

Aerosmith - Permanent Vacation

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Permanent Vacation'*

A slight step up from Done with Mirrors, with more interesting songs. Some filler for sure, but felt more complete as a project.

Favorite track: Dude (Looks Like A Lady)
Least favorite track: Girl Keeps Coming Apart

Aerosmith - Done with Mirrors

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Done with Mirrors'*

The two opening tracks are pretty decent, I like their tempo and energy. The rest of the album felt just alright really.

Favorite track: Let The Music Do The Talking
Least favorite track: Shela

Aerosmith - Rock in a Hard Place
48

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Rock in a Hard Place'*

Coming out of Night in the Ruts, I ended up feeling about the same about this one. Just not that good, very mediocre.

Favorite track: Rock In A Hard Place (Cheshire Cat)
Least favorite track: Joanie's Butterfly

Aerosmith - Night in the Ruts

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Night in the Ruts'*

Ehhh. This one ended up falling flat. Struggled to pick out anything that stood out really. Felt a lot longer than 35 minutes.

Favorite track: No Surprize
Least favorite track: Three Mile Smile

Aerosmith - Draw the Line
54

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Draw the Line'*

Not too many of the songs stuck with me much. I Wanna Know Why ended up the favorite, but can't say there were too many standout moments on here.

Favorite track: I Wanna Know Why
Least favorite track: Bright Light Fright

Aerosmith - Rocks
82

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Rocks'*

By far their strongest effort and my personal favorite. None of the songs are any bad, though some can border on bland at times, but there are a handful I come back to often.

Favorite track: Rats In The Cellar
Least favorite track: Sick As A Dog

Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
77

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Toys in the Attic'*

Does a good job spawning several hits like Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion. Memorable riffs and choruses that gets me revisiting!

Favorite track: Toys In The Attic
Least favorite track: Round And Round

Aerosmith - Get Your Wings
67

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Get Your Wings'*

Their sophomore release still rocks, but not quite as hard as the first. Not too dragged out and still a good listen all things considered.

Favorite track: Same Old Song and Dance
Least favorite track: Spaced

Aerosmith - Aerosmith
74

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Aerosmith'*

Their self titled debut is pretty good, and one I was familiar with from before. Works well as a raw, straight up rock record with no bs.

Favorite track: Mama Kin
Least favorite track: Write Me a Letter
