The Foos are favorites of mine, and with their previous album 'But Here We Are' taking a spot among my top 5 records from them due to its sheer emotional impact and powerful, catchy tracks - I was hopeful for their "new beginning". Ilan is a great drummer and a good addition to the band. Sadly, that ends up being one of the few saving factors on this record. I really wish I liked it more, and I've tried, but it has ended up at the bottom of the list for me.

Revisiting some of the Radiohead stuff I have listened to the least, Pablo Honey needed another go. I recalled it being way more unrefined and same-y. Though lots of the tracks sorta blend in terms of similar tempo, grooves and chord usage, there's still good moments on here. It can't really be compared to like, any of their later stuff but it's not that bad of a listen even if it is some of their weaker work. It's definitely still a very listenable 90's record.

*Aerosmith Discography Dive: 'Music From Another Dimension!'*

Aerosmith's last record sadly ends up being their dullest and worst. Very very few high points and just a whole lot of nothing tracks, even though they structurally should make sense. There are riffs sure, but the whole thing just feels washed up.

Mainly a covers album of blues tunes. Road Runner was decent, and the one original song The Grind ended up being my favorite. Other than that, kinda boring to be honest.

Jaded and Fly Away From Here were sorta the only ones I could pick out that I liked. A lot of the other songs felt very bland.

This one was a slog to get through. There weren't really any stinkers on here, just a whole bunch of forgettable songs, which almost is worse in a way. Finding a 'favorite' ended up being kinda hard lol.

An album that ended up surprising me, in a positive way. After a bit of a hot streak with lukewarm records, I actually ended up enjoying this one quite a bit and will probably revisit a few of the songs.

A lot of people seem to hold this one in pretty high regard among their albums. I couldn't quite get it myself, though I see where the appeal is with the 80's sound. Just not for me I suppose. Was still pretty alright in total.

A slight step up from Done with Mirrors, with more interesting songs. Some filler for sure, but felt more complete as a project.

Does a good job spawning several hits like Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion. Memorable riffs and choruses that gets me revisiting!

Their sophomore release still rocks, but not quite as hard as the first. Not too dragged out and still a good listen all things considered.

Their self titled debut is pretty good, and one I was familiar with from before. Works well as a raw, straight up rock record with no bs.
