It was good. Great mixture of rock and electronic music. But I prefer their older stuff...
My favourite album from LCD Soundsystem. Nostalgic, emotional, fun, consistent.
An amazing album. The only problems are the lack of songs. I'd have time fore more. Also the production is a bit too noisy for me. But if you are looking for a vintage sounding, quality music, with some modern twists. this album is for you!
Sting already showed at The Police that he had incredible singing, composing and songwriting skills. This album is a great start, but some songs are streching way too long and become boring...
It's simpliy one of the best musical experience ever! The only drawback was that some of these songs felt a little short and overly pop-structured.
I'll be short: there were highs and lows on this album, but the great songs really carried it. I liked the little Balkan type songs.
🇭🇺: Röviden: egy igazi hullámvasút volt jó és kevésbé kielégítő számok között. Viszont a jó számok tényleg nagyon minőségin sikerültek. Szerettem a balkán rock és a modern underground hangzást.
The band switches to a more dancy approach which makes it stand out from the bunch. It's not only a great genre parody throughout the whole album, but also holds up the quality of the previous album. The only thing that holds it back is the overpolished production which caused some problems...
🇭🇺: Az új album egy bulisabb irányba kacsintgat, viszont még mindig bőven megmarad a kicsit underground-os hangzása. Nemcsak egy pazar stílus paródia, ... read more
A huge upgrade from the previous album. Better quality in every aspect. But some songs still felt a little bit underwhelming.
🇭🇺: Egy óriási minőségbeli ugrás a debütáló albumhoz képest. A szöveg, a hangszerelés a dalok íve mind rengeteget fejlődött. A humor is kifinomultabb lett a maga sajátos módján. Viszont még mindig voltak tölteléknek nevezhető dalok, amikben ... read more
Simply one of the Best from Sting and one of the Best in the world.
10000/10
Deadbeat is Tame Impala’s fifth studio album. It seems that Kevin tried to break into house dance music, but the boring, lame and repetitive beats, along with the weak lyrics (basically everything), are scraping the bottom of the barrel. There’s really no better way to put it. I really wanted to love this record. Sadly, Kevin’s once creative mind seems almost completely lost, and despite his claim that it took two years to make, it sounds more like two months of work. I hope ... read more
It's an album, with an amazing atmosphere, and songs. But the slipping production takes away a lot sometimes...
This album is truly one of a kind. It blends jazz, punk, rock, and funk in such a bold and unpredictable way. However, the sudden shifts between styles sometimes hold me back from fully loving each track. Still, it’s an impressive and creative piece of work that stands out on its own.

Tame Impala's third teaser track for their Deadbeat album is a fast and mainstream-sounding "Dracula" is a Halloween and music reminiscent of Michael Jackson's Thriller. The danceable, fast beat and gentle Halloween atmosphere immediately grab you. The lyrics fit the music nicely, and the vocals are much better quality than in the previous two teasers.
What makes it a little weaker is that it lacks the longer transitions and progressions that made Kevin's previous work ... read more
End of Summer initially grabs you with a lively, pulsating house-techno pulsation. The tight beat and the dynamism of the gradual build-up undoubtedly breathe life into the song, although the lead-in section feels a bit drawn out, which can often break the flow.
The weaker points unfortunately appear in Kevin Parker's vocals and lyrics. The vocals are too sterile, overproduced, and lack the floating emotional sound that we have often heard in his previous works. The lyrics are also flat ... read more
Loser is captivating at first listen: its groovy base and atmosphere, mixing funk with Kevin Parker's psychedelic voice, offer a typical Tame Impala experience. Although it was only released as an album teaser, it made big waves: it collected more than a million Spotify streams in two days, and the video has already been viewed more than two million times on YouTube.
However, the song was less than fulfilling for me. Due to the surprising lack of structure and repetitive lyrics, it seems ... read more
