i adored this on the first listen. i’ll be relistening sometime and my rating might change then, but i think it’s pretty good!!!

I might be judging from the excitement of the first listen but i actually had my jaw on the floor for a good 80% of the time i spent listening to this. i’m usually not big into remix albums, but this is super enjoyable!

This is sort of a hit or miss for a lot of people, and while it’s not perfect, i’m very attached to this album lol. Some of my all time favorite lyrics are from here. Courtney might be a controversial figure, but if there’s someone who can write about the female experience in all of its misery it’s her!!

i did not particularly like any of the songs, but it’s impossible to give it a score any lower than this when the production and the vocals are this fucking brilliant.
i loved it when i was a bit younger and i still think it’s an extremely well made, creative and special album, even if it’s not particularly my cup of tea anymore !!

this being your band’s debut album is fucking insane.
every single song here has a certain addictive quality to it that allows me to turn a blind eye to the few moments in which the lyrics can become a little bit corny, like it can happen from time to time with NIN.

favorite track/s: head like a hole, the only time, something I can never have, terrible lie, sin, ringfinger
least favorite/s: that’s what I get (if i absolutely had to pick one, because i adore all)

i can understand why hayley herself fucking hates it but listening to this album is an uncomparably fun experience and i enjoy it thoroughly every time.

least favorite track/s: we are broken, hallelujah

hearing death of an executioner live changed my life forever

i think the bridges in this are its biggest strenght. i have such a soft spot for this album.

i adore albums that feel like taking a peek into someone’s diary. The lyrics are the biggest highlight of this album in my opinion; she has such a brilliant way of writing.

it was a lovely listen for the most part but the last two songs caught me so off guard … in a bad way :(

so in love with her delivery and the instrumentals. such a fun listen!!
