Hande Yener’s Nasıl Delirdim? is one of the boldest reinventions in Turkish pop history. This album is my favorite Turkish album ever and changed my perspective on pop music, especially when it comes to pop music in Turkey. Nasıl Delirdim took the electronic sounds, which she had started experimenting with on Hande Maxi and Apayrı, and pushed it even further into genres like electropop, house and even techno. Instead of chasing mainstream trends, Hande Yener made a record that felt ... read more
"U" was an album that has a few highlights. The album gets boring after the first 3 tracks due to mediocre vocals. I almost quit the album but then "Do it" played, which is one of my favorite tracks on this album, but overall it was still a boring experience despite it being an electropop album. I could only like 4 songs out of 9. 6.8/10
Hepsi Hit Vol. 1 is a simple album. It's "Full of Hits" just like the title says. However, the songs are what she would call "bakkal." This was one of the first albums I listened in full, so I'll be generous but she just made easy money music. Songs are catchy but clearly produced with commercial concerns even though I like most of the songs on the album. It gets weak on the last 3 tracks, rest are bangers. Seviyorsun is my fav on the album. 7.6/10
This is the best The Weeknd album. I loved most of the tracks especially the more nu-disco ones such as How Do I Make You Love Me?, Gasoline, Sacrifice, Don't Break My Heart and Take My Breath. Under 3 minutes tracks felt like fillers to be honest. The reason why I like this album is the radio concept. It's not something ... read more
I've been waiting for this album for so long and it fulfilled my expectations. It wasn't a great first listen experience because most of the songs were already out but the album is still great. I loved all of the songs, excluding interludes. My favorite track is Balenciaga covered eyes, which was also the lead single.
The album opens with an interlude. Her vocals sound great. Then this peaceful mood switches into a high tempo experience on the itle track. I wish it was longer but I ... read more
