Gets a bit repetitive near the end (New York Tendaberry is exceptional though), but the majority of the tracks are fantastic. Neyro's vocals are stunning, ranging from soothing to deafening beauty, and amplify the brilliant lyrics. Really amazing album, I can't believe I am just hearing her for the first time.
My ears deadass started throbbing and hurting by the end. I couldn't give two shits if this is a joke, garbage stays garbage and this just pissed me off for 20 minutes. Why did I do this? To be honest, the first track is quite ASS but I heard worse on those stupid tiny desk clips. Track two is no joke top 10 worst songs oat. Yeah, I don't even care to cover the rest. Some of the worst music I've listened to.
Nearly perfect first half and an amazing final track, but it kinda falls off a bit in the second half. Fantastic album though.
Loved this. A mix between alt-country and even a bit of punk. They have quite a unique sound going for them, especially in the alt-country category, and delivers a great record. I'm definitely looking forward to anything they do in the future.
I've listened to this album so much and I just can't get sick of it. The only thing holding it back from a perfect rating is We're Thinking the Same Thing. Not a bad song, but not one I ever want to go back to outside of a full album listen.
Edit: Nevermind, this album is generational. "We're Thinking the Same Thing" finally hit for me, a simple but heartbreaking song. It's still my least favorite, but it's fantastic and doesn't detract from how ... read more
Why Bob...? Even outside of it being written for Reagan, this song is so boring
Very different from any of their later stuff, and definitely their weakest, but it's honestly still quite good. My favorites were probably Cold, The Lake, Put My Hands on You, and A Beautiful Memory Pt. 3.
It's very nice, though I wasn't a fan of the first two songs. Got better and better as it went on.
Getting nasty as hell on some of these tracks. Thrasher is one of those songs that'll make me tear up so easily as soon as I start listening to the lyrics. This is what they should teach in schools while on the topic of vivid imagery. My favorite Crazy Horse album so far.
Peaked at 12 with this masterpiece. Unfortunate fall off in lyricism since.
Gotta relisten to this when I'm not working, but Ambulance Blues is one of Neil Young's best
Need full on Nuremberg trials for these pieces of shit. Fuck ICE and anyone who supports the regime.
Strange Taxidermy is fantastic but the rest of the songs didn't really do it for me. I will still definitely be keeping a lookout for them in the future.
Second listen: This hit SO MUCH more the second time around.
Andre 3000 did a flute album, now it's time for Calvin Harris' harmonica album.
