New Order - Temptation

Might be top 10 songs ever written

MJ Lenderman - Manning Fireworks
80

The last song did NOT need to be 10 minutes.

Edit: Upping my score to an 80 because it's a great album, but I still stand by the last song being absurdly long

Dove Ellis - Blizzard

Listened to this a few weeks ago but forgot to write something about it. Beautiful vocals and great songwriting. Amazing debut.

LET'S GO RAIN!!!

Jeff Tweedy - Twilight Override

Tweedy's songwriting is, of course, phenomenal, and here he delivers an emotional and very intimate epic. Definitely want to relisten to it when I'm not doing work.

Nation of Language - Strange Disciple

Fire album cover and "Weak in Your Light" is incredible

LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening
93

Not really a fan of tracks 7 and 8, but those barely detract from how extraordinary the rest is.

Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising
90

First album of 2026. Everything here sounds so ethereal and otherworldly. Gorgeous stuff.

New Order - Republic

Regret is easily the best song here. There are still some good songs though and none of them are necessarily bad; they are just quite forgettable, especially comparing it to the rest of their discography.

Favs: Regret, Everyone Everywhere, Liar, Times Change

Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

How do you even begin making something like this???? This couldn't have been made on Earth. Now I don't even want to listen to anything else today.

Favs: All of them (Hounds of Love is crazy though)

Prewn - Through the Window

I heard “But I Want More” in a record store and immediately listened to the album when I got the chance. Holy shit, this whole record is so good, it deserve more love.

Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan

It's definitely not perfect, but there still are plenty of great songs on here.

Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

I don't think there was a single bad track on here

Sparklehorse - It's a Wonderful Life
NR

A quietly haunting album that only gets more heartbreaking the more you know about Mark Linkous. Van Morrison - Astral Weeks

The title track is a masterpiece

Mustafa - Dunya

I like his voice and all, but after a bit it felt a little repetitive for me. Maybe a re-listen at some point can help it.

Favs: Name of God and Imaan

"@antonjarvi My bad, I realized after that this was a cover. I thought it was an original song that he wrote for the movie."
