Initially, I felt like this album was going to settle with being a solid conscious hip-hop project since the first few tracks seemed to stick to looping jazz beats with little variation. However, this album gets a lot more interesting as it progresses and I'm genuinely in love with parts of the latter half. Skyzoo is a good lyricist, and his flow is oftentimes fantastic with this jazzy, boom-bap production. I do wish the entire album was a bit more consistent, but this is certainly a pleasant ...
