pretty solid and smooth rhymes across the entire project. not much to complain about, definitely one or two lower points in the runtime, but overall pretty consistent throughout. always liked IDK but never gave him much of a listen until now, and considering this is the first full project I’ve listened to from him, I’m thoroughly impressed.
probs Cole's most consistent project which is impressive considering its length. not a bad song here and I personally think his singing is a high point in many of these songs. very strong stuff here and songs like 'Safety, 'The Fall-Off is Inevitable' and 'I Love Here Again' are some of the best pieces of music that he's ever put out. you can really feel that Cole felt the pressure from his fans to deliver on this long-awaited album (especially after the beef, ... read more

the fact that this man was consistently great for so long can be attributed to his constant evolution as an artist. I think that this album is a prime example of how well Kanye can blend different styles of music into his… well, music, and more so, how cohesive it all sounds on this album.
not as good as his first however I do find myself coming back to more songs on this project.
