Some of the catchiest pop music you'll hear this year. Good productions and vocal deliveries, I hope they're the next big thing.
Fav tracks: Girlfriends, Wingman, Touched by an Angel
Some great songs but a bit all over the place sonically, which wouldn't be an issue for an EP, but here we're talking about a 1-hour-long K-pop album.
Highlights: Bicycle, Flying On Faith, Stay Tonight, Dream Of You, Bother Me.
The melodies, the vocals, the productions, EXY's (self-written) rap verses, the charisma, the versatility... They served EVERYTHING and MORE.
EP of the Year, MAYBE DECADE
this is kinda what I wanted positions to sound like
fav tracks: follow the white rabbit, effortlessly , boyshit, stained glass
Some songs on this aged like fine wine, and others haven't aged at all (looking at you Say It Right). It drags on a little near the end but I'm willing to forgive that. Also, the production on Promiscuous is one of the greatest thing that has ever happened in Pop Music.
I can't believe an auvergnat folk album from the 70s invented trip hop
some of her best deep cuts are on this album, and that run starting from showdown to touch of my hand is simply pop genius
highlights: me against the music, showdown, breathe on me, early mornin, toxic, outrageous, touch of my hand; everytime
unpopular opinion: oops i did it again>>>>baby one more time
fav tracks: oops, stronger, don't go knockin at my door, satisfaction, what u see, one kiss from you, can't make you love me
holy s the production on the beat goes on sounds like something straight out of bjork's debut lol
fav tracks: baby one more time, crazy, sometimes, i will still love you (soooo cheesy I love it), deep in my heart
too short, but some interesting ideas
favs: someone like u, test drive, worst behaviour
least fav: 34+35 remix
hit after hit after hit after hit after hit
not nearly as captivating as folklore but still a nice effort
fav tracks: champagne problems, gold rush, coney island, marjorie, closure, evermore
least fav: tolerate it (marjorie should've been the track 5)
