This album strikes a nerve and sounds good doing it.
The best music with an overt political message to come out in awhile.
Edit: man this album really grew off of me fast. Nothing is sticking. I’ve listened to it 5 times in full and still don’t remember most of the songs, which I’ve learned is a sign that something isn’t connecting.
This album is boring. The lyrics are amazing, and it’s a great concept but most of the songs just don’t have that thing that connects with me outside of a handful. I think I wrote the following review listening to the few I really like (hard candy, ... read more
Bro switched his sound and rapping style up so much he’s even got these reviewing websites confused ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This was much better than my expectations personally,
My faster Drake album since scorpion (maybe even views)
I’m surprised to see it outside of the green personally. The beats are genuinely beautiful on here , this is the best produced Drake album since the old 40 days,
You can hear the extra effort he put into the writing, singing and rapping here. He sounded energized .
This is the first Drake album in awhile to feel like a work of art and not a product.
This feels like the b sides of two main projects.
I really liked maid of honor, and haven’t listened to ice man yet.
I’m not putting a number on here yet because I’m only half way, but this doesn’t have any of the experimentation or genuinely interesting production that the previous album had.
On most Drake albums, there is like a bunch of really really great songs then a bunch of boring songs with bloat. This feels like all of the bloat songs put on one record. ... read more
The first half is great. It kinda gets boring on the slower r&b cuts but that’s to be expected.
I was genuinely shocked by how experimental it was. I have nothing but good things to say about it. The more I listened, the more I realized it’s a conceptual album sonically.
It starts off very experimental with dance music and slowly transitions into more dancehall inspired sounds and slower r&b tracks. Then in the final stretch it starts shifting away from r&b entirely ... read more
Their best album, one last breath and my sacrifice are classic dad rock songs. The intro was kinda experimental with the fuzziness and spoken word bit, and idk this felt like it was more of a piece of art than just a commercial dad rock album like some of their other stuff.
It’s still a mediocre rock album with some classic highlights though. And you’ll never catch me wanting to listen to this freely,
But it was a very important album for racist, maga, republican, wealthy, ... read more
Peak dad rock
The hits are actually pretty good . Aspects of creed are hard to deny, but this is racist maga dad music through and through … sadly. This and shine down. And his voice is very grating after awhile and songs like arms wide open are just so dramatic without having any emotional punch for me
Reminds me too much of my racist maga republican homophobic dad because this is all he listens to.
But the music on its own isn’t horrible.
I think a few of the hit creed songs are actually pretty good; including my own prison. But Torn and One were like 6/10 level decent rock songs too
I think my own prison is like an 8-8.5 though, something about the vocal melody on it feels powerful. But yeah most of this album is boring to me and gives me bad memories. Even with all of that ... read more
the greatest electronic album of all time. It feels like the end of the world, it feels like the darkest art humanity has to offer to me. This album is truly eerie and bone chilling at times, but it is also just mind bending... beautiful.. one of a kind music that is fun to listen to. That is what makes it so special, it will go from being a genuinely danceable and entrancing track, to having a passage that makes me feel like I am a scared child being kidnapped in a van late at night. For me, ... read more
its got that campfire songs magic, but its also not all that memorable. Really enjoy it while it's on but it definitely feels like an animal collective side project.
this actually blew me away, I have never enjoyed a full bronson project this much. The instrumentals are so sonically pleasing, he is rapping his ass off with clever lyrics and a confidence/attitude that is fun to listen to. I also love the very animated conceptual frog stuff that is really prevalent on the first few tracks. Yachty gives one of his best verses ever and paul wall just made a legitimate 2026 comeback with how good that verse was. I could just listen to this on repeat all day.
So is this just what they do? Remake the same song for three albums, sounding like a beach boys cover band? I don’t see any artistic growth or any real identity here
its obviously good music, but I have the same issue with this as I did their last record (even if I like this one a little more), it just sounds like a marginally less interesting beach boys record. I get half way through this and just want to go listen to the music it feels like it’s imitating. I love when modern ... read more
It’s not bad, but it does almost nothing for me personally. I think they are fucking sick and really love their politics,
But they just feel like more of a political movement than a band at this point. I see people like Hasan talking about them more than I see art lovers, and for me when I listen to the music I just don’t really “feel” the music outside of just understanding the message.
This feels like futuristic art.
It feels like art is just pouring out of this guy, in a similar way to how I think of Daniel Johnston.
This album finally clicked for me. I am obsessed with this band right now, and although the new abnormal is still my favorite: I understand how magical their debut is.
The album cover on Spotify is one of my least favorite album covers I’ve ever seen and I really think that played a part in me not clicking with it for so long (outside of the popular songs).
But now I see this as one of the greatest collection of rock songs I’ve ever come across .I tend to prefer the more chill ... read more
I love everything about this song. The lyrics, the vibe, the autotune, the guitar shredding at the end. Has me very optimistic for the new album

This is my fav song of the year I can’t stop listening to it
