Completely speechless, never seen an album convey emotions so strongly, yet being beautifully written at the same time. phenomenal album
This album has so much life in it. Every song feels like its own journey. Going through the track list i was just getting more and more immersed, every song coming together to tell a story, as the listener it almost feels like you're a part of this story. My favorite songs were Destroyed by Hippie Powers, Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales, and The Ballad of the Costa Concordia, especially that last one, being filled with 11 and a half minutes of pure artistry, you can feel the emotion and ... read more
some songs conveyed many emotions like the last one, but some songs just feel incomplete, whether its a lack of lines, repeating flows, or the feeling of a lack of effort put into some of them. Whilst some songs are good examples of him putting his heart into the songs, some others feel rather empty.
very different from what im used to, was a pretty new experience but it was fairly enjoyable, Birthday is definitely my favorite as i love the whole rock theme of the song, overall things flowed together nicely, do wish it was longer though.
Experimentation done right, Jpeg once again surprises me with something unexpected yet fantastic every single time. Favorite tracks were Yen, Lights, and Burning Hammer. Charlie kirk getting mentioned in so many different bars and contexts is hilarious, as well as the Big Epstein name drop
Third listen of jpeg and im now looking at rap through a whole new perspective, whole album was filled with creative concepts and a style of production ive never seen before.
Made a stinker face through out the entire album.
not because it was good, but since BBL Drizzy took a big fat stinker on my face while he’s smacking my ass til its red thinking I’m into this, i’m not.
Atleast he tried more than the previous album, but there’s still a long way to go before it’s even decent.
first rage rap experience outside playboy carti, safe to say this album is now one of my favorite after just a few listens. Not to mention the creative and unique music videos from slayr. This album is nothing short of a masterpiece
tried something completely different from astroworld and landed perfectly, production had a huge step up and every song feels well polished
crazy flows with Pharrell production and tyler the creator and kendrick features, 40 minutes of pure eargasm
production is insane, vocals are HEAVENLY, crazy emotions throughout the whole album
beautiful lyricism, beats were a bit repetitive but the flow carried hard
