i really love “like ooh-ahh”, but i don’t feel that same energy throughout the rest of their debut ep. still a fun listen, but can get a bit boring and repetitive
didn’t love this at first, but now its genuinely one of my favorite songs to blast in the car. i dont really understand the hate honestly—its catchy and the choreography is really fun! the lyrics are bland but this isnt really anything new with k-pop.
i HATE j-hope in this song. men ruin everything.
“catch catch” is definitely yena’s sound, and i feel like she definitely needs to lean into the energetic, electro-pop sound more! we saw this with nemonemo, but i feel like she really put her all into this song. that is to say, i really wish she kept that same energy throughout the rest of the ep. overall, its pretty solid, i just really think “catch catch” stood out more than the rest of the songs.
genuinely one of the most peak j-rock ever. its not too often you see this type of music in the j-rock sphere, so this is super awesome and refreshing to hear!! “CALL ME PRINCESS” is the best track on here by far

im late… anyhow this is an incredibly solid record! im a huge fan of post-hardcore and i feel like this is a nice addition to the genre. the vocals are pretty good and so is the instrumentation, HOWEVER!! i did not find anything super crazy or creative in this album. its fun to jam out to in the car though!
actually fun/dance-able punk music! its nothing crazy or pioneering, but it does have good rhythms. it is lowkey a bit corny (especially “i’m not a loser”) but honestly thats what makes it fun. suburban home is a REALLY good song and it definitely stands out compared to the others.
i enjoyed sus bus a lot! i hope they release a cleaner, better-mixed version of this song on spotify. however, the sentiment is shared that they were at an early point in their music.

let me state the obvious; this album is INCREDIBLY repetitive, which leaves me thinking about how horrible and torturous it would be to listen to live. and though it is still quite torturous to listen here in my room, it kind of reminds me of listening to the loud hum of air conditioning at night—that is to say, its weirdly comforting, and i find myself zoning out to the repetitive guitar riffs.
that being said, i did not enjoy this. its not my ... read more
its a shame that such a shitty anime has one of the best opening songs of all time
hybe’s attempt to recreate gnarly has failed miserably and it shows through this song
[let’s make them viral - week 12!]
this album was such a fun listen!! she has an incredible vocal range, going from cute vocals to full-on screamo. i enjoy the contrast a lot!! its kinda like if j-pop mixed with post-hardcore, which is pretty awesome. however, i do feel its a tad generic, and i feel like she definitely couldve done more with the range she has.
one of my favorite songs from this album is inazukkyun (track 5). its just so catchy!!
also, she looks badass in the cover. ... read more
anxiety is trashhhhh smh but the rest of the album is so goated i needed to add this to my 2025 albums of the year
absolute peak EVERYONE should listen to this ep
