...Like Clockwork

This was both dark and beautiful. Like Clockwork by QOTSA is a 2013 alternative/stoner rock album. The album has a haunting and moody atmosphere, with its heavy riffs and also slow, melancholic tracks, it has a unique balance, and manages to blend multiple genres, like hard and melodic rock. The singing on this one is great, with Josh Homme’s vocals adding a lot of emotion into the songs, and his voice being pretty good and melodic as well. The instrumentals and production are also great, with a mix of hard/stoner rock riffs, and some melodic ballads and chill songs as well. In conclusion, this album is a solid mix of both stoner and soft rock, which works well and has some great singing.
