FOOOOOKINNGG FUCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKINGGGG YEAAAAAHHHHHHHH
NOW THIS IS SOME GOOD ASS INDIE ROCK HOLY SHIT!
I feel like a kid in the candy store who just found his favorite chocolate bar
Or in this case, a kid who found his favorite train, even tho that might be my least favorite on the record.
Noisy, loud, disruptive, but FUN, God this album is already so good and it might grow on me more and more as time goes on.

Was there a hypnotism ritual that I missed that was supposed to help me differentiate these tracks from one another?
Like fuck only like 3 tracks on here are worth going back to.
And I don't want to sound like a dick, but seriously this album just drags.
It has so much filler, and the cool production that is shown on some songs feel just washed down because half of everything feels copy and pasted.
I do not see the appeal, but I'm happy for those that do.

It truly does.
These 2 have never lost touch with their craft.
Such beautiful lyrics combined with soulful production, Blu continues to touch the hearts and souls of every person who is fortunate enough to hear his composition.
In My Window is freaking gorgeous man.
Genuinely bored me several times.
Idk I just feel as though having this be my first impression of this band might've been the wrong move.
Fascinating debut, but overall, a majority of the record lacks the conviction that only a handful of songs contain, with Wesley often showing less enthusiasm, then he should have.
Very good Bedroom Pop.
I feel as though this record would've just flew right over my head had my cousin not recommended it to me, and I'm glad she did cause this was a very pleasant listen albeit the latter half of the record shattering the perfect image the first half was providing for a while. Holly has a lovely voice tho.

I feel like I got robbed just a tad bit, because Numerologoy was fucking incredible, with some of the most inventive uses of non-electronic instrumentation mixes I have heard ever, which makes this folk style of music Cameron Picton has been curating to be simply super interesting.
But idk, with the incredible moments that this album provides, it almost feels like they attempted to play a little bit too safe with a majority of the tracks here, with only a couple of songs breaking the mold and ... read more
BURNMATERIAL might be one of my favorite songs of the year, that being said that this album isn't without its shortcomings, with some tracks just not being as inventive or screechingly mindboggling as others, which more than often has this album and its pacing feeling a bit off at times.
Fav Tracks: You're serious, aren't you ?, lil qoo, BURNMATERIAL, ( ╥﹏╥ )
Least Fav Tracks: Recap :
Weird does not simply automatically equate to good.
But in this case it does.
I feel very conflicted.
I love electronic music, I love production that feels glitchy and just booming with clashes, but I don't know, I feel like people are hyping this one way too much.
The first 4 tracks on this are just front-loaded with the Albums best ideas and where the wow factor comes in, and yes I was pleasantly enjoying the rest of the album because of it. But while listening to the latter half, I sort of felt as though the sounds and Tiffany's words were ever so ... read more
Don't hate it cuz its trap, hate it cuz its mid as fuhhhhhhhhhh
That feeling when you get to be the first person to go to heaven, and let Mac know that his buddy made a masterpiece of a song in his name, contributing to his already incredible posthumous discography.
And to also let him know that the song was put on an album so funky and soul-filled, that it makes a thunderstorm feel like nothing but an encouraging strobe light, leading you to dance even in the darkest of times.

Yknow for the tracks that did make this album a bit worthwhile, I feel... disappointed in myself for not enjoying it more.
