Landmark death metal album, with bangers like hammer smashed face. It’s not perfect though, because songs like necropedophile aren’t that great and are even a bit disgusting
Extremely consistent album. While a lot of the songs in the middle where just really good, the first couple of tracks where actually incredible imo.
Great precursor to the downward spiral, with a lot more heaviness involved than pretty hate machine, though i still think they haven’t reached their peak just yet
Excellent debut, though it sometimes feels a bit soft compared to what they would become. That is a good way to introduce people to nin though. Also, head like a hole is my new anthem
In my opinion the strongest album in the quincy jones trilogy.
Michael really tried his best to make sure every album was better than the last, and it really shows. I don’t think there’s a single unmemorable song on this album.
