Listened 24.12.25 at the airport going home for Christmas. Very wintery album with lovely soundscapes that really generate specific feelings. Cosy, sheltered, and safe. Album cover really sums it up.

Listened 29.11.25 at home. I interpreted this as Mars being a solace for Lausse but also the cause of his depression and loneliness. The mad hatters and Mars are home, but the realisation that home cannot be his home forever. Crashing back down to earth is soul shattering but a journey that has to be made.
