Very close second to JOECHILLWORLD. Devon raps his ass off on here with what I can only describe as more lo-fi Kanye sounding beats. The beat switch on nilaplliK is awesome. End to The Means is the most underrated Devon track period. Operation: Kill Hannah Montana is very eerie sounding in a good way. Operation: Kill Chet Haze is also really good.
Dirtball is fye. safety is good. mr. skii got a heavenly beat. drop my pride got me in my feels. knocked down has some amazing raps on it. stress is also very addicting. Dirtball has a very unique chaotic style that I love.
Best album under the "Devon Hendryx" name. Bully is funny asf. Omega Weapon, Montebello High School Prom, and 1989 (Michelle's Song) are really good. The sample on The Power of Madonna is perfect. Everything on here is really solid. I love Devon's old-school style of rapping on here along with his raps. Perfectly encapsulates how much he didn't give a fuck what people thought of him and only cared about talking straight from the heart.
Knxwledge is an amazing producer, and Anderson .Paak is an amazing singer/rapper. Mix them 2 together and your bound for an exceptional album. Daydreaming is good. 86Sentra's beat and raps are nice. I also love Rae Khalil on OutTheWay. Everything on here is really good and I can't wait for this on vinyl to be shipped.
Don't normally listen to video game soundtracks or the genre of "metal" but from a instrumental standpoint, this album has some of the hardest drum loops I've ever heard, along with the disgustingly distorted Guitar? (I don't know much about instruments at all). Castle Vein is amazing. Panis Betrayer's chiptune aesthetic is amazing. Even the weaker interludes like The Fire is Gone still capture that eerie essence of both the game and this album. Glory is also ... read more
This is the best trap album I've heard. And no, Rodeo doesn't beat this. It reminds me of Man On The Moon in a way with how melodic the singing and rapping from Carti is on here. dothatshit! has such an amazing beat. Uzi's verse on Lookin always has me doing that stank face whenever I hear it. Had 2 is addicting along with MexikoDro's producer tag. Lame N*ggaz chorus is peak.
Superb album. I remember helping my dad break down boxes with this groovy masterpiece in the background. The Questions is funny and one of my favorite songs of all time. The Light has some amazing bars with some godly drums. The electronic jingles on Funky for You is nice. Nag Champa is a down low beat that for me feels like an audible version of a dream. A Film Called (PIMP) sounds like something straight out Jet Set Radio.
As usual, an amazing album from Lupe. Don't think I've heard a single bad song from him. Samurai is an amazing jazzy way to start the album. Bigfoot has a really cool vibe, beat, and them too it. Mumble Rap has some really good references and bars on it. The lines on Outside are also amazing. Everything on here is good.
Don't know how I found this album, it just appeared in my playlist one day. Tomorrow is addicting as hell. Past Love is super groovy. So Damn Fly gives Tyler, The Creator vibes. The rest of the songs are pretty decent.
I Don't get why I loved this dude so much as an edgy 13 year old. It's not horrible but Darkie is so obnoxious on some songs. microplastics goes hard on my Skullcandy Crushers. futile is hard to listen to. super ego is pretty good. gangster rapped punk rockstar is explosive and irritating in a good way. Other than those,, everything else is pretty forgettable or just bad.
This album is bipolar. First half is amazing but the other is aight. Hop Out the Pussy I'm 21, Lets Hit a Lick on the White House!, BUMBOPUSSYRASCLAT, I Might Vote 4 Donald Trump, #Trussmidaddi are all amazing. Peggy's Singing and Hemlock Ernst verse on Llama Mind is godly. Xanny Davis Jr. is also pretty underrated. Sadly I don't think Freaky was the best he could've been on here.
This is the greatest album I have ever heard. She Lives in My Lap is the greatest song to ever exist. Vibrate is such a weird and dirty song and everything about it is great. My Favorite Things is one of the greatest covers I have heard. Dracula's Wedding has one of the nastiest synths I have ever heard. Everything about this album is peak music PERIOD.
