I can't count how many times I've heard songs from this album played in my life. Mr. Bill Collector, Tha Crossroads, 1st of Tha Month, Buddah Lovaz, Mo'murda. Everything on here is memorable and great.
After listening to a few Armand Hammer projects I wanted to listen to this, since billy woods was proving to be my favorite of the duo, and this did NOT disappoint. Kenny Segal lays down some of the craziest production I have ever heard and billy woods with some of the most tongue twisting lyrical rhymes and schemes. Everything on here is beautiful.
Even better than the first. I pray this group finds the success they deserve🙏
This guy reminds me of Fat Joe in so many ways. Decided to rate this one just because of Terry, best track on this album. Other than that, the rest is just kinda mid.
It has some great songs, and some others that feel mediocre. Daddy Fat Sax, Turns Me On, Follow Us, For Yo Sorrows, Shine Blockas, and Back Up Plan are all some great stuff from here, but the others feel empty to me for some reason.
This is my favorite Denzel release. Superb features, raps from Denzel, production, and everything in between.
It's just not that good. Reminds me in some ways of Tyler, The Creator's old stuff.
Something about this has a special place in my heart, and I can't really pin-point it down.
This is my personal favorite from the Hitler Wears Hermes series. Broadway Joes, Lucha Bros, Kool G, Woopy are all some really amazing tracks that shine through here.
I'm glad Denzel is returning back to the Mischievous South series but it did feel lacking and boresome at some moments.
Decided to delve more into this hip-hop duo Armand Hammer, with this being my second album from them. It's definitely experimental, with some very abstract and unique production. There's also some very meaningful messages through here too. I also don't exactly know why Doves wasn't on the first issue, as I think its the best song on here. Some moments did feel a little cluttered and slow though. The Gods Must Be Crazy, Woke Up and Asked Siri How I'm Gonna Die, I Keep A ... read more
The Alchemist is hands down one of my favorite producers ever, and billy woods is a great rapper too. This was also my introduction to E L U C I D, and it did not disappoint at all. E L U C I D brings some amazing chorus's and bars along with billy woods, and they prove to be an amazing complement to Alchemist. Falling out the Sky, Indian Summer, Scaffolds, Stonefruit, Squeegee are all some of my favorites from here which is hard to pin down considering how good everything is. It's an ... read more
