malcolm todd sounds completely in his own lane here. the production is incredible, the performances are sharp and charismatic, and even when the writing is a little simple, the album is so focused, funny, and strangely addictive that it never stops feeling exciting. it’s horny, charming, and one of those records that just keeps getting better the more you sit with it.
favs: obsessica, free.99, breathe, i saw your face, gun to my head, x's and o's
skips: malcolm in the middle
polished and well-produced, lyrically solid, structurally strong, but maybe lacking a huge emotional punch / standout originality
