The first Vaultage, although not as strong as the third installment is still fucking nasty asf!
I didn't know Space Laces released some of the hardest brostep I've ever heard!
Between Friends coming back with a follow up album to their debut and honestly it's a tiny bit better but this time around. There isn't any annoying material it's just that most of the ideas need more cooking just like their debut. It's good and they're definitely closer than ever to creating a full cohesive album experience.
I honestly didn't expected nothing interesting from this guy right when i heard the first two singles. "End of summer" was fun when i first heard it but in the context of this album it blends in with the background wallpaper aesthetic of this whole album. I didn't think much of "Loser" as it felt like an ok Tame Impala song and i still feel strongly about it here aswel. Never heard "Dracula" when it dropped and i never had any interest to give it a try. ... read more
A bit of a regression but still this album houses in my opinion two of his best tracks to date. "edamame" and "yoga". Production, vocal performances, lyricism, flows and anything in general is just fucking amazing. Nothing negative about those tracks. Anything else is either good or just ok.
This was one of my first albums. I knew bbno$ from some youtuber's outros. One song sounded interesting and i checked it out. Some time later "lalala" exploded and i didn't really gave it much thought. A year later one of my friends put "backwards" from this album on their story. I was quickly reminded of this guy and i asked him "you like this?" and he said "yeah i like the sound he is going for". So i checked out the album and i enjoyed it. ... read more
Some of his most annoying and weirdly mixed tracks I've heard from him land here. One of his best songs is here aswel and that is "Gone". Great track but the album is just mid.
Time for a bbno$ discography speedrun because I have nothing better to do. I'll only do whatever is available on apple music and his solo stuff.
This just feels like a standard rap album. There's some fun material especially when lentra is producing. I mean the dude knows how make groovy trap beat and bbno$ compliments his style.
[UPDATED]
(Old Score 50)
I'm gonna be honest i still kind of feel the same for this ep but it feels a little more personal to me right now. I've been going through some weird times recently and i don't know why i decided to give this thing a try again. "Call Out My Name" got to me in a way i haven't felt in a long time. This track is so tragic and depressive. I relate to some of the lyrical content here, that's why i love this song even more now. I think ... read more
A very interesting sound for Joji which actually goes well with his voice. Kinda reminds of some of the distorted vibes on "BALLADS 1" but the sound and style is completely different.
Would've liked it more if it was longer but for now these are my thoughts.
The reason i decided to go through 50's discography is to mainly see if this album is as bad as everyone says it is. That's because i used listen to some of the songs here as a child and i really liked them, and still do. As i went through his albums the more i thought to myself "this guy isn't as mid as everyone think he is". Especially this album. Now i can definitely see the problems with this but i just don't think the songs are bad or mediocre asf.

This album is weird asf. It has some of 50's most experimental tracks and some are trash and some are ok or good. You have you're usual 50 material as well but it's kind of the same shit as the non-usual cuts. This album does have some good songs like the opener, "OK, You're Right", "Do You Think About Me" and "Baby By Me". I think i might need to give this one another try. But yeah, this a very strange project.
I'am slowly starting to question the fact why people don't really like this man's music. I thought it was fun and very creative. Sure it's not as strong as his debut but there are still some pretty entertaining and memorable moments here. And i think that "Curtis" does best what "The Massacre" wasn't really able to do, following up 50's "Get Rich or Die Trying" that well. I mean yeah sure, "The Massacre" does have some of his ... read more
I don't know what to say. I mean first off the album is generic. Young thug is boring and gets overshadowed by his features for the most part. Beats are badly mixed especially from "I'm So Dope" to "Whaddup Jesus". The apology track makes me confused because on the jail calls he roasts everyone and then apologies and apparently tried to squash others beefs. I don't know this album is just questionable in general.
Not surprised but 50 cent's follow up to his debut isn't anything special nor bad. It mostly is good with ok bits here and there. There a couple mountainous highs for sure but the whole album kind of feels like a missed opportunity. Still good tho!
