I can't collect my thoughts and words to express myself. This is quite literally one of the most beautiful and well crafted albums i have ever listened to. The vibe is just ungodly gorgeous. It feels like I'm in the forgotten Atlantis but not when it was populated but abandoned and flooded. Like I'm going through the city in my submarine or just sailing the ocean, going from island from island. I need more listens so i can express myself better but for now this definitely one of ... read more
[UPDATED: OLD SCORE 95]
Yeah, i think i went a little too far with this one. Tbh i was kinda comparing to Clipse's album a bit and on that project there are a lot of legendary songs. In my opinion same goes for Silk's project right here but the highlights are a bit weaker. I still love this album and will definitely be in my top albums of the yeat for sure!
[OLD THOUGHTS BUT STILL SOMEWHAT RELEVANT]
This morning i hopped on aoty cuz i haven't seen the front page yet and one of ... read more
This album is all over the place. You have overproduced bullshit and at the same time the most boring and slow dogshit you'll ever hear. My main issue tho is HOW FUCKING LONG THIS LP IS BRUH. An hour and a half long thing where Diddy is almost nonexistent and is filled with other artists who don't even add anything to the tracks. They just sound like dollar store versions of other artists.
I think this album is a little overhated. Is it unbearable and annoying to get through? Yes. Do i think it's absolute dogshit? Absolutely not. I mean the songs for the most part feel like you're average basic rnb trap bullshit. It's also diabolical how fucking long and bloated this mid-fest is. Even if you cut this album down to 10 tracks, it'll just be ok.
The absolute worst lyrical content resides here on this shit ass "album". The production is sometimes redeemable (and i say that very lightly). But the lyrical content, flows and "vocal performances" are so bad that i can't look through them and see the good in this garbage.
This is actually soulless garbage. Well not so much in the beginning and middle point but more towards the end. Nonetheless tho I still didn't felt a single fucking emotion throughout my whole listen. It got to a point where i was fed up with the production and Justin's nonexistent vocal performance. The lyrical content is nice even tho it sounds like dollar store Weeknd writing.
Not the worst thing ever i mean Tones and I exists but honestly this is some of the worst pop music i have ever heard.
Well at least "JACKBOYS" had some memorable moments but here the highs are almost nonexistent.
Actually his most cohesive project. Most hard and memorable shit lands here but there's still slop.
At least his label didn't put anything embarrassing here. Too bad they do with the next posthumous album.
Well the mixing is for sure better here but the production choices, vocal performances and lyrical content is just worse. There are better memorable tracks this time around but the majority of the shit here is just gosh darn awful.
Went in with a benefit of the doubt and got what i nearly expected. The songs aren't special at all (sometimes), some even sound like demos but whatever. This thing is mostly mid as fuck.
This is the most disrespectful posthumous album I've ever heard. X's label really did him dirty, embarrassing him with some of these songs.
Not the absolute worst but one of the most annoying and unbearable albums i have heard
