This album feels so fresh and chill. I think with this thing I'm fully a Logic fan for sure. I never expected him to go full on album producer mode on this project and tbh i was pleasantly surprised with the vibes of this LP.
For a debut album i guess this is pretty fine. The beats are just ok for the most part, they're not the most creative thing ever and sometimes it feels like he bites from Kendrick's "good kid, m.a.a.d city", especially with the title track where it reminds me of "Sing About Me, Im Dying of Thirst" but at least that song has a switch. This nearly doesn't change and he doesn't say anything really interested to grab my attention. It feels like yapping and it ... read more
@marti23 was like "yo, i like how vinyl looks on this album, wanna listen to it?" and i was like "aiiight". He liked it. I thought it felt like a 46 minute song. Almost every song sounds the same. The instrumentals are generic as shit, the vocalist was annoying for the most part and the lyrics are painfully boring. The first half was okay tho, it wasn't bad at all. "Umbra" was maybe the most enjoyable track even if it the whole song was just okay until that ... read more
It's 2025, every album has transitions these days
With a first half weaker and the second stronger, this is Miley's most complex album to date. Given that i haven't listened to her material pre-"Endless Summer Vacation" and from what I've heard her older work isn't her best. I haven't also listened to her last album in a long while so i don't really remember what that sounded like so for now I'll say this is her best album to date!
I'm bored and can't sleep, and i was listening to "Head Hunting". Then i thought to myself "why not listen to the EPs?". I think i made a mistake. I hope the next one will be good atleast.
How can this mf release some of most beautiful songs for last year and come out with this shit at the same time.
This has an interesting certain vibe, which i wasn't really engulfed in. The production mostly felt lacking and maybe all of the performances here. I might have to give it another try sometime but for now this is it.
I find Kali Uchis to be an interesting artist because she never does the same thing with her projects and this album is a perfect example of that. This time around we switch up the production to a more indie pop style of music but i think there's material out there that i would much rather listen to than this. It's not bad, it's just that I've heard better stuff in this genre. It feels very basic even tho this is Kali's most mature and emotional album to date. There ... read more
There is some pretty nice, interesting and fun material here but i didn't find myself wanting to return to this!
It's a fun EP although the mixing is a bit rough but it kinda compliments the whole project!
Edit: (original score 75) this EP slaps ass cheeks but i am still not a fan on "Heartless".
Key Glock's "Glockoma 2" is truly one of the most hard hitting trap albums of this decade. While without the deluxe tracks this is for sure a bit weaker but it still slaps ass!!
This is NOT a bad soundtrack. It's good but it lacks character. Let me explain. Mick's work on 2016 and Eternal is iconic as shit, i think we can all agree on that. But not only that Mick's work is recognisable but the eccentricity and character he brought on those games is amazing. 2016 is dark, gritty, electronic and hellish as shit just like the game. Eternal's is much more vibrant, alive, colourful but yet still gritty and hellish. His material is creative and not only ... read more
Just like the last one, the album picks up at the end. It's a tiny bit more boring than "Dum and Dummer 1" but it's still a fun album. Wonder what it could've been if it wasn't bloated.
