This album gets a lot of crap from the community, but I actually really like it. We're back to "oh god why is this song 8 minutes long" Metallica, but if that's what it takes to get songs of this quality again, I'm all for it.

The perfect Metallica album. Every song is a reasonable length, enjoyable, and heavy. And Justice for All may have more certified bangers, but this album is more consistent, higher quality, and a bit easier to digest.

My second favorite Metallica album. It's bogged down by a couple issues, namely the spotty production and oh my god what the hell why is that song 10 minutes long!? but this an absolute master class, and well deserving of a spot in the metal hall of fame.

You don't need me to tell you that this album is a masterpiece, you all already know.
What you DO need me to tell you, is that Metallica needs to cut some of these tracks in half because oh my god why is Orion 8 and a half minutes long!?

Having not grown up with this era of Metallica, this was a real treat to experience for the first time as a fan of some their newer material. I don't think every song on this album really hits, but we really do have some masterclass material in this album, even if I skip a lot of it on re-visits.

This album comes out the gate swinging and never lets up, just banger after banger. Their sound and production has matured, their talent undeniable. Kagerou, Elevator Girl, Night Night Burn!, and Starlight are all top 10 Babymetal songs and the rest are no slouches either. Their best album so far.

This is where Babymetal really came into their own. So many bangers on this album, but without as much of that studio interference we do have a few not so great tracks on this album. Su kills it on lead vocals and this album is a real showcase for her talent.

Babymetal has one gimmick but they do that gimmick very well. You can absolutely tell this album was made during their formative years and had a lot of outside interference. It's interesting going back to this album after their later work because you get tracks like Onedari Daisakusen which features the other two girls in the spotlight almost in it's entirety. It's refreshing, and this album is wonderful albeit very gimmicky.

She's a Handsome Woman is a top 5 Panic! at the Disco track and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

Very front heavy album, but there's a lot to love here. The more pop sound they're going for may turn many old fans away, but it gave us This is Gospel and Girls/Girls/Boys so I'd say it was worth it.

I miss Ryan.

The best modern era Panic album, by far! I genuinely love every song on this album except for maybe 1 or 2 of them that I feel a little iffy on. LA Devotee certified hood classic.

There's a reason they only play one song off this album at their shows.

Here it is ladies and gentleman! Linkin Park's okay-est album!
Ignoring the massive shift in genre, this album just doesn't do anything for me.

This album is a massive departure and if you've read my other Linkin Park reviews you probably expected me to hate it, but honestly it really works in this album. I don't think this album is super great or anything, but it's very enjoyable and does a good job of differentiating itself from what came before while still being very "Linkin Park". There are some stinker songs on this album that really sour the experience for me, but what works REALLY works.
