I just played this record in my headphones, to make the whole experience feel even more intimate, riding on my broke bike through my hometown, wearing my favorite jeans and a loose T-shirt on a cloudy day (except for "Clearblue", when the sun came out for a bit). And I can tell you, this is the way to do it.
Since I first listened to this record, I've been going back to it non stop. I never was much of a fan of Lorde, because I just hadn't gotten into her music, but this is ... read more
I love whatever this is radiating! And although some of the songs aren't really my vibe overall this is the exact camp, femininity, fab, boldness, glamour, sexiness and cunt I need this summer!
Fame is a Gun, New York, Money is Everything and Aquamarine are definitely my favorites!
I finally listened to this record all the way through and I can't believe all those years I spent sleeping on this, having no idea it was this good. I've been a Pink Floyd fan for three years and only now I'm realizing that this is exactly what I love. OK Computer is for Radiohead in the nineties what The Dark Side Of The Moon was for Pink Floyd in the seventies.
From Paranoid Android into Subterranean Homesick Alien into Exit Music into Let down ... WOW

Wow wow wow, they brought seventies punk back! Amy is definitely the best front lady I've seen in a while, maybe ever? She's so camp and she's everything a punkstar should be.
The guitars, the voice, the accent go hard man!
This man knows what to do to make us all feel absolutely devastated. Those stretched string notes at the end on a few of the songs, it feels like he doesn't want to let go of the person he lost. It's like he wants to capture the feeling of whatever that person made him feel. It's so weird that not only with the lyrics but also the melodies, you can almost feel what he's feeling and it feels so genuine.
This record will haunt me forever and so be it, I'll love it!
The deluxe definitely added to the original album! Big fan of Some Protector!
I went for a bike ride on a beautiful sunny spring day listening to this record for the first time. And omg what an experience, I feel reborn. The whimsy! I wish more music had this kind of whimsy these days. And it's not like just one or a few songs have this whimsy feeling, no all of them have it.
The melodies, the different instruments that harmonize so well together, the beautiful female voices WOW WOW WOW this record is incredible.
I wish more people made music like Syd Barret did on this album. There's just something about the ease of the lyrics on Bike that I often return to. I mean I also love me a deep dark lyric but there's something so refreshing about Syd's lyrics.
Favorites are: Astronomy Domine, Mathilda Mother, Pow R. Toc. H, Take Up Thy Stetoscope And Walk and Bike
I'm impressed by this album! A&W, Margaret and Let The Light In are so good! There was really one song that i didn't like and that was Fishtail. But overall I'm impressed!
Aside from tucker being an amazing person this album is actually great. Wasn't a fan of his music before Kansas Anymore but this is surprisingly kinda good.
The album feels very intimate and emotional, very soft indie white boy who went through a breakup and is deeply still in love... I like it!
There are some songs that I don't like that much but I mean overall I'm surprised, especially by Look At That Woman, Deeply Still In Love, The Dinner and Something, Somehow, Someday. ... read more
girl... I'm so obsessed with this soundtrack
I swear it's a whole other experience to listen to this on a train or walking around the city on a cold day. Those clarinets on Sign Up and Thanksgiving in Sacramento give me the shivers.
But also the way this soundtrack just perfectly captivates the spirit of Lady Bird (and her mother), incredible! Kudos to Jon Brion!
One thing about me is that I love a stoft jazzy/ funky tune. This is exactly that! I loved the vocals and those flute solos are really really good as were the drums!
nobody's rockin' it like those doors are
I must say that the song L'America is being slept on, it blew me away, it's so different and quirky and I love it!
Of course I must not forget the good old favs. I mean Riders On The Storm is the song that got me into the Doors and was also one of the songs that opened my portal into classic rock in general. It is a perfect song! Also The WASP is incredible!
never ever ever will a live album slap in my face as hard as this one does every time I listen to it
it's so perfect !!
this album sends me to places in my head that I never knew existed
TRULY THE BEST ALBUM EVER MADE EVER
