redundancy turned what could be a fierce bird of prey into one bloated chicken's flight. Couple of good tracks and ideas, utterly lost in a sea of repetitive riffs and lyrics; heavyness so very tameable by the ears over the offered time
I understand the appeal of monotony/repetitiveness, but it does have a downside when it dwells in tameness and inertia – that's just a waste of time –; this is what happens during some unnecessarily lenghty sections of Absolutego. Still, Boris' first LP presents the overall structure and shows glimpses of what would actually end up being a truely relentless act of drone music – they were still in their chrysalis here.
I dig the very layered composition here, and Mr. Zeltron's flow, adlibs and delivery also contribute for the ~deluxe~ feeling his trap gives off

The dubstep track w a Skrillex feat sticks out like a sore thumb in a beautiful handful of fingers
As remixes go... this is objectively not a good one, the main reason being that about 80% of the original track went outright UNTOUCHED. No addition nor subtraction. Doechii's contribution limits itself to a few verses at the start, which weren't even that great... or good at all. Just one more rendition of this bragging, self-made-millionaire character – this one without Weeknd's intoxicatingly charming presentation or Carti's all-engulfing "aura".

Even though the unpretentious and somewhat jam-ish feel the EP has might be on purpose, it does not justify how bad 14 minutes of music here are. The last 2 minutes of Track 1 are pretty good tho – they're cohesive, after all.
"WE NEED ALL DA VIBES" sounds like absolute dogshit – Young Thug should be ashamed of his contribution – but it's only the tip of the iceberg of fundamental mistakes behind an album that could well be objectively better
After the first track, everything feels like shoving food down your throat while you're already filled to the brim
