I was fairly certain that Clipse would snag the AOTY title but there's another incredibly strong contender out. JID's rapping skills are one of the best I've ever heard.
This is a very fun fusion of rap, pop and EDM. JVB got their own thing going and I'm excited to hear more of them.
Nie mam dużego doświadczenia z tymi podgatunkami rapu, ale kurde, Księga Tajemnicza dalej buja.
The first album from JACKBOYS wasn't even that good but dang, it was still much better than this. You can just tell that no one on the project is actually trying.
2025 in rap music is already incredible and there are many promising releases coming soon, which I'm very excited for. But THIS project here is a strong AOTY contender for sure.
Pusha T's and Malice's performances are perfect as are most of the features. I guess Pharrell Williams singing is usually (but not always) good.
Tyler's just having a lot of fun on this album and invites the listener to do the same. Bonus points for encouraging people to move/dance to this and have no shame in fully expressing yourself while enjoying music.
Different Day and 2024 are really good, Backr00ms and FOMDJ are awesome.
Style Taco i Quebo nieźle ze sobą współgrają, chociaż może trochę szkoda, że poszli w kierunku mocno popowo-radiowym. Mimo to dowieźli przyjemny LP.
On the first listen, MUSIC is much more accessible than WLR. I quite like how Carti spread out the features on here (+ loving all the Kendrick appearances) but it would've been cool to also hear some less familiar guests. The production and deep voice / voice switches are also refreshing. All things considered, a solid project.
A solid project. Killer Mike's performance is on point, I like how introspective he gets. For me the weak point is production, it doesn't fully compliment the rapper's style and delivery.
Also there's the choir - there are tracks where it does a fantastic job of keeping the track fresh (like SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS) but there are also songs where it feels like a forced addition.
It's unfinished, uninspired trap songs mixed with bland, generic pop rap songs. Not much to look for in terms of lyricism either.
PinkPantheress just flows effortlessly on these great, atmospheric alt-pop and DnB beats.
It's still an above average trap album but I think Offset has made this LP just a little too long for its own good.
One of those rare instances where the deluxe actually adds valuable tracks and enhances the album listening experience instead of watering it down.
It is a compilation of songs that haven't made it onto previous projects and for what it is - BUSINESS IS BUSINESS is enjoyable enough.
