Wow. Emo indie classic. Everything about this album is freaking good. The themes are so enchanting and it pulls you in from the start. The sense of urgency and regret is made very clear, but not overwhelmingly so. There is still a variety of topics and ideas discussed. I heard once that it’s the perfect road trip/ driving album and that’s so accurate. Anyways, the sound is super polished and the lyrics are meaningful and extravagant. A very underrated project from a very talented group. The albums themes of horror with a dash of humor in the studio make for a super enjoyable listening experience while the themes dominate this album it doesn’t restrict the rappers to be creative with their lyrics and flows. while it takes time to get used to the mix and mastering it ultimately provides a layer of quality to the aesthetic that could not have been captured if done differently. The hooks are catchy the vocals are delivered emotionally and the layers to his vocals keep each song interesting. I listen to this album constantly and because of its complexity and length I can't help but find something new every time.
